Perfect place to stay. Quick access for daily trips to Mammoth Mountain. Well equipped kitchen for home cooking. Used outdoor pool and hot tub almost daily. Very quiet and clean. Mountain view from the balcony was perfect for a morning coffee or a book in the afternoon.

Stayed with family and two kids in late March. Location was perfect. Ski in and out three days with the family. Soooo convenient. Nice place, great community jacuzzi too.

Very well maintained property in a great location. Easy access to the eagle lodge. Just come out of the building, put on your skis, and ski down to the lift. Nice views. Very well insulated, and even in the middle of winter we didn’t have a need to turn on the heater. Easy covered parking access with keycard that you have to pickup from the management office.

We love being at Sunstone, the ski in and ski out is the best. We had a great time, the unit was really nicely kept and it made our stay very comfortable.

Beautiful location and view from unit , Extremely clean and comfortable condo , Doesn’t get better than sunstone for ski in ski out and closeness to markets , floors are carpeted and warm , very nice unit , hope to return soon ,

We really enjoyed this unit. Carpet is nice and lush. A bit disappointed by the pillows. They were all really flat and usually there are too many pillows. We had to make pillows out of blankets rolled up and tucked into pillow cases. It is a bit strange to have to do that when the unit is clearly well taken care of. We will book this unit again and hope that pillows are added to the unit. I asked the property manager but didn't hear back. I did say it was ok if they couldn't provide it but after a couple of nights not sleeping too well on the flat pillows, we McGyver'd some pillows. ;-) We also would have preferred 4 keys as there are 5 of us and everyone is an independent skier so it would have been nice and not too much trouble, I think, to provide 4 keys instead of just 2. Made it harder than it should have been to coordinate entry during the day.

Everything was as it was stated. Nice and clean. Great location. Host was great. Underground parking was good too. Fit lifted truck. Barely but fortunately it did because there is no outside parking.

Unfortunately we where told it was ski in ski out however the lift was not operating when we were there in April, needless to say that was a huge disappointment!!! Every thing else was as advertised.

Love the ski in & out aspect! Very convenient! Condo was as shown in ad and has all the amenities you’d want. Great view! Comfy beds! All kitchen gadgets. You need.

Lovely place. Had some difficulty with first set of keys not working but replacements were brought by on call staff quickly. Don't forget to return your plastic card keys to the office. we left them on the counter and the check out staff were going to charge us but they eventually spoke to the correct person who grabbed them off the counter. Also, use the lockers. My husband left his skis in the locker room for lunch and they were stolen. many sticky notes looking for mistakenly removed snow boards suggests there is a theft problem.

Location was great for skiing, and the place is spacious for a mountain condo and clean. Would be nice to not have to stop in town to pick up and return keys, but oh well. I do think that at this price point you should be able to expect a better stock of dishes & pots. The only bowls available are tiny, so if you are having soup (as we did), good luck. We also made pasta one night and there was no saucepan that could hold a jar of sauce with meatballs. A number of maintenance items were also present, including bulbs needing replacement (one over the kitchen prep area and a heating bulb in the master bathroom), a slow draining master shower, and a broken toilet-paper holder. We did not have issues connecting to the building's wifi, though the unit having it's own would make sense.

The instructions on how to find the place and how to find the keys and settle in we're weird. It took us a few tries of re reading the email and driving around a bit before we figured it out. Other than that struggle during the initial approach the place was fantastic. Very clean open spaces and the ski and ski out convenience was magical.

If it wasn’t for the aspect of the ski in and ski out convenience, this would’ve been a three star review. But walking 20 feet with your ski boots on and strapping on your boards to ski down to the lift was perfect. My 25-year-old daughter said the place could’ve been cleaner, so that has to be factored Into the review as well. Some hooks in the bedrooms for clothing would also be useful as you always need to dry things out after a day of skiing. Overall had a great time with the kids and would do it again.

enjoyed our stay. only issues were the refrigerator was too cold so fruit froze and adjustment controls didn't work. Heater went out the last day. shower curtain was moldy. old coffee maker. location excellent: ski in/out. jacuzzi/pool great but jets in jacuzzi broken.

Small fine condo. No internet but that is on the description. There is an open Wi-Fi from the building. The parking instructions are confusing, so just go around the building and park anywhere that is not reserved. Gsp will through you into a dead end street. The access is before that and is very convenient. Don’t forget to get your key with the property manager which is on another address, they manage a lot of properties and are helpful. The apartment was clean from what we could tell. The bathtub had hairs in it but not big deal. No snow at this point so the lifts are closed. You’ll have to drive up to main.
