Staff were great, location is good although quite noisy. Rooms are very very small with lots of opportunity to bump into things. No room for luggage. Bathroom was extremely small and shower was just Ok.

Beautiful boutique hotel in Manchester. Staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. Gorgeous building and lovely rooms. 10 minute walk to the station and center of the city, but not too loud.

We booked this stay for our anniversary. From the moment we arrived, nothing was too much trouble. The lovely touches of our bags being taken to our room for us having left them earlier, the 5pm Prosecco and being able to have a cocktail brought to the room in the evening were all fab. We loved breakfast in bed and the choices suited us perfectly. The location is great - close to town and everything we wanted to do. We will are already planning to return next year!

Loved all the little touches. Prosecco and nibbles between 5-7, unlimited hit drinks and cookie at bedtime. Overall ambient in bar/foyer was great and room was lovely. Would definitely go back again.

What find stunning hotel , great location , attentive staff . Highlights breakfast in bed at a time to suit , breakfast not to everyone’s taste but I loved it . Free Prosecco and nibbles between 5-7 . Late night cookies and milk . Free coffee tea 24 hrs and large water bottles in your room . Room hairdryer straighteners lovely toiletries.. think only thing missing would be a wee biscuit in your room to go with your tea. The bed was so comfortable.Some great recommendations listed in the room which we visited a few , Mala and a jazz club .. will definitely stay again .

This hotel was amazing, absolutly spotless, room was large and equipped with everything you needed and more! The whole hotel was modern and stylish. The staff where so attentive, nothing was too much. They frequently checked that we had everything we needed. There was free proseco on arrival, unlimited free hot drinks, and even free milk and cookies before bed! There was also free slippers and ear plugs. There was hair dryer and straightners in the room along side still and sparkling water and a radio and tv. We had breakfast in bed, we chose the night before and also chose a time slot for it to be delivered. We would recommend this to everyone and will definitely be booking again!

Great staff, beautiful hotel, our 2nd visit to The Cow Hollow although it has been a few years but excellent to see that it is still as great as the first time. Really welcoming staff and all super helpful. Great location for shopping, great coffee and brunch spots nearby.

Booked for my husband's birthday. Before we went, we had several texts from the hotel asking us to cancel with Expedia and rebook directly. I didn't, as we had used vouchers with Expedia, and I would have lost money, and also I didn't like the way they were trying to pressure me to do this. On arrival, we were asked to provide ID and a bank card for a £100 pre-payment. I don't carry cards anymore, and this resulted in quite a heated exchange with the manager as she would not budge on this and in the end, took a £200 payment from my bank via my phone. I was upset by this as it left me short of money for the planned birthday expenses. She said we should have had an email explaining their terms, but I hadn't received this. When I checked my emails later, the email she mentioned only arrived after 6pm, so I would never have seen it before we left in the morning. It really felt like the £200 was a punishment for not bringing a bank card. This soured our initial visit, but for the rest of the stay, we didn't see the manager again, so we tried to relax and enjoy things. Ozzy was welcoming and provided great customer service. The breakfast trays were ok, but the drinks were tepid by the time they reached us on the top floor. The 'free' drinks and nibbles are only between 7-9, so if you go out for the evening, you don't get them, so all in all the treats offered felt a tad gimmicky in the end. The room was tiny and the bathroom even more so. Overall it was ok but not for us.

Very nice hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is unique with great interior. It's located a short walk from Manchester Piccadilly, with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants close by. The hotel bar also has very good drinks, and the breakfast delivered to the room is nice.

Amazing staff in a ‘different’ hotel. Lovely experience, with a glass of Prosecco and bubbles, and other complimentary items which were lovely touches. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. The breakfast was tasty and delivered to the room. In places the room could do with some refining, there was a hole in the wall where the door closer had hit it, paint cans visible under the stairs. Minor points but at this price point is worth considering. Great location in town close to lots of bars and restaurants.
