If you are planning a trip to Backbone State Park, this home is perfect, as it is just a short drive from the park entrance.However, we did notice a few details regarding the sleeping arrangements:Master Bedroom: The mattress is comfortable but the frame is quite squeaky. A single quiet sleeper will be fine, but multiple people may find their sleep...

“This was our second stay at this property. Location is perfect for our visit with our children who live in Dyersville. They’ve added a nice outdoor dining table and fire pit since our last visit. Linens are very nice. This is a very pleasant property with a great front porch!”

“The apartment is spacious, very clean, and comfortable. It features beautiful views of Elkader. The location is in easy walking distance to the shops, restaurants, and riverfront trail. I hope to stay again. ”

“Room was supposed to be non-smoking but it was obvious that several people had smoked there. Fortunately the staff was very helpful and provided me with a neutralizing spray that did a good job. It took me about five minutes to spray the curtains, floors, beds, bathroom, chair and walls.”
