My wife and I, and our 10 year old son, stayed here for three nights in March, while we visited Mesa Verde and Hovenweep. We enjoyed the great views, fun atmosphere, and quiet mountain location. Everything was well stocked, clean and in good shape. The owner and manager were quick to respond to messages, although we didn't have any problems that needed to be addressed.
The road in was a little difficult to navigate the first day, when it was wet and muddy, but after that, even with some late season snow, we didn't have any issues. Mancos had a small grocery store and a couple restaurants, but Cortez isn't much farther, and has more options, if you need to make a larger shopping trip.
