We booked this property weeks prior to arrival in Manila. 10 days before the check-in date, I received an email from the host saying that he “upgraded” the room to accommodate the number of guests: 2 adults and 2 children. This booking was advertised as “can accommodate 4 guests” so there was no need to upgrade. Secondly, the room that we were upgraded to had the same layout as the one that was originally booked. I asked for photos of the “upgrade” unit 10 days prior to arrival, I never received one. Upon check in, the unit was something I have seen on the VRBO listing that I did not like hence did not book.
On arrival day, the host knocked on the door within 5 minutes of checking in to ask for the parking space payment when he could have simply sent a text message.
On checkout day, we received a text message at 5 am, reminding us of the checkout time. By 7 am, the wifi connection was no longer available.
We were disappointed and felt deceived. That was our experience and hopefully yours would be different.
