Great place for a friends group!

Everything you need for comfort and convenience, central to some amazing rivers and plenty of dining options - including cooking on site!

great vacation

harbor village is a great community to vacation in with kids! will be coming back next year. Northern Michigan is a hidden gem, the beaches are better then any beach down south....... white sand crystal clear water.

Great week!

Harbor Village and Manistee never disappoints. It was a fantastic week and the condo that we stayed in was absolutely perfect for the six adults that were in our group. Everything was very well appointed and clean and communications were excellent. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful

The property was beautiful. We swam at the beach, outdoor pool and indoor pool. Loved walking around the marina. The children liked the park.

Extraordinary Vacation

This place was a top pick by the family from all previous vacation spots. The house was in an ideal location to the beach and local shopping. It was very clean and had many things provided (beach chairs, bike, k-pods and machine, games). The fitness center was an added bonus. We will consider this place again. Easily 10 out of 10 stars.

Comfortable, clean good location. Amenities as advertised. Walking distance to the beach and the pools. An extra refrigerator in the garage was very convenient.

Perfect Week for our family!

We loved the easy access to the playground and were able to enjoy the pools and the beach by a very short distance in the car or a moderate walk. Having our beach wagon helped with getting toddlers and stuff to these amenities. The space was plentiful for our group of 4 adults and 2 toddlers. The kitchen was very well appointed for everything we wanted to prepare and serve. The downtown shops and restaurants are just a few minutes away and other cute towns and groceries are a short drive away. Cleanliness was top notch!

Xmas with family

This property was true to the pictures and description. Very nice condo. The only issue we had was the garage door keypad was really finicky. It took several tries to work every time we used it. We got to the point of using the front door instead. Would stay again.

Satisfied

If i could make a suggestion, i would install a dehumidifier in the basement, it was very musty and smelled of mold , the dehumidifier that was there was a tiny one that was meant for a closet or a very small room, it had a new BBQ grill that someone forgot to put fasteners on the wheels so everytime we moved it the wheels would fall off

A Comfortable Place for a Family Vacation

This condo was well-appointed. Everything needed for preparing meals and a comfortable stay was provided. It was an easy walk to the swimming pools and a short drive to two different beaches.

Great location, well maintained property

We had 5 adults with us, and everyone had comfortable sleeping accommodations. We broght our bikes, and were so glad we did! Downtown was less than a mile ride, the beach was less than 5 minutes. The indoor and outdoor pools were both very nice. This was our first trip to Manistee and we really lucked out. Kitchen had anything you needed if you wanted to cook. The condo was well stocked and very clean.

Great Vacation week in Manistee

Our family enjoyed staying here due to its location next to the awesome playground, close walk to beach and accommodations met our needs with 2 toddlers and 5 adults. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils. Loved the view from the upper deck. We have been vacationing for many years in this complex and we will be back!

Wonderful Week

The Condo was very nice. Daughter and Family upstairs. Grandparents downstairs with public spaces on the main floor. The beach was awesome with the location close. The pool and playground within walking distance was also a plus.

Comfortable Home

We stayed here for 2 weeks in October and found it to be comfortable. The kitchen had more of the necessities than anywhere else we've stayed and we enjoyed our stay. This is just under a mile from the downtown area, and is an easy walk. Note that there isn't great lighting on the walk, so be prepared at night. We were planning to avoid renting a car, but Lyft and Uber are not available, so we got a cab to the nearest location for a car rental, which was about 50 miles away in Cadillac. We also found that grocery delivery was available, but services such as Doordash, GrubHub, and Postmates are not. We got to see some nice fall colors and we enjoyed the area for a low-key stay. It's pretty quiet in the fall, but I think there is a lot more to do in the summer.

Harbor View

We really enjoyed our stay at this well located condo with its many amenities. We loved the kayaks, bikes, and beach chairs as well as the extra large freezer space in BOTH refrigerators as we always need such space because we go fishing for lake trout and salmon.

Favorite HomeAway rental

We have rented through HomeAway numerous times around the country, and several of those in Northern MI - this one was by far my favorite so far! I came up with my two young sons (5 & 7) for a little winter getaway - for us, it was the perfect size (lots of sleeping room), beautifully appointed without being fussy, with a lovely view of the marina (granted, we were there in the winter, so the marina was empty and blessedly quiet!). The upstairs bedroom window even gives you peeks of Lake Michigan. The furniture was comfortable and kitchen well-equipped; there is even an attached garaged to park the car. My boys (5 & 7) were thrilled that there was a Wii AND a large wooden ship to play on right out the back door. We enjoyed the indoor pool; if you come in summer, the beach is within walking distance (or ask a local where the best public beaches are that are quiet and secluded!). There are three balconies/porches for enjoying the outside as well. I had to contact the owner once when we first arrived (locked door issue), and he was prompt in returning my call. We were sad to leave; this was such a fantastic property and look forward to returning!
