Awesome little cabin. Very clean, easy check-in, comfortable beds, amazing yard amd beach. Cute little town, we stayed 3 nights and found plenty of things to do.They had everything we needed.

Very nice property and beach! We really enjoyed our stay. We did leave behind a fan for future guests as we were there during a pretty warm period without much breeze from the lake. Nice and peaceful.Thank you for hosting us!

An employee of our company stayed at the house while in the area for work. He said it was a great house in a beautiful location. It was a great place for him to relax after a long day at work.

Family getaway

The home was very nice and the lake views from the porch and the fire pit are fantastic. It’s a very quiet area and easy to get to so many great spots in the UP.

What a great place! We arrived just at sunset on a chilly evening and the place was cozy & warm. Really enjoyed the outdoor firepit and indoor fireplace - especially because it was cold, cloudy, windy, and rainy. Just hung out and read books. When the sun came out we were able to walk on the beach and also the road is a nice stroll. Would definitely recommend.

We had such a peaceful, relaxing stay! Being surrounded by nature and having the comfort of the cabin was exactly what we needed. The property was beautiful, as was the cabin itself. It was clean, tastefully decorated, and well-stocked. Check-in was easy and Erika was responsive to communications when I had a couple little questions. The outdoor picnic table and Adirondack chairs were great, and we loved the boardwalk and quiet beach. So glad this stay was dog-friendly! Would stay again.

A Quiet, Hidden Retreat

The Cadieux Cabin is truly a retreat for rest, relaxation, and reconnection. The property is well-managed, the cabin is clean, beautifully decorated, and situated on Lake Michigan with stunning views. We loved hearing all the animals, walking on the beach, and feeling a world away from the usual routine. Erika was a pleasure to work with, and we appreciate her sharing this experience with us—an excellent place for young families looking to enjoy the best of Pure Michigan.

The most relaxing time

We had an amazing time and we’re able to relax for the first time in what seemed like forever. The cabin was perfect and the view was mesmerizing. Will absolutely book again next time we go to the UP

Very peaceful and relaxing

The only negatives were no AC and tv/vcr did not work. We were outside almost the whole trip and the view and beach were beautiful. Very dog friendly as well. We would absolutely stay here again.

Beautiful stay by the lake

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this property. Located down a dirt road, this house is right on the beach in a private setting. The house is beautifully appointed and the view of the lake is magnificent. We walked the beach many times and only saw other people a few times. There are other properties along this beach, but the trees make it feel very secluded. Still, it is not a long drive to get to Manistique where there is good shopping and restaurants. If you have never been to Garden Peninsula, you are in for a treat and this property is a fantastic way to enjoy the area.

Very pretty spot and cabin. Our young family really enjoyed our stay but once we got home the host sent a very unprofessional message claiming we stole a pillow and did not “pre-approve” our pets. We did. Would have been a 10/10 until I got this message.

Great spot

What a great place to unplug, just of 2 makes it easy to get to and day trip from. Recently remodeled, everything was fresh and clean, comfy beds and a shower with decent water pressure. Beautiful view from the porch with a flat walk down to the sandy beach was great finish to every busy day. Full kitchen, grill and firepit, put a nice bow on this gem, the additional space next to the house would be perfect for a trailer to expand your group. Close enough to town grab breakfast or groceries. Only possible downside could be bugs in the creek between the house and lake but we were there in august and had no problems. I will keep this place in mind for future trips for sure, worth every penny.

Fantastic 4 Getaway

This house on Lake Michigan was everything we hoped for and more. The house was cozy, clean and everything felt new. The kitchen had all we needed for our short stay. The porch was so relaxing with great outdoor furniture and an amazing view to see the Lake. The beach was amazing and we felt like we had the whole beach all to ourselves. We had 2 fires and the view from the fire pit was amazing. This cabin is an hour away from Pictured Rocks where we spent a day of hiking, taking a boat ride, and visiting more beaches. Overall, it was an amazing few days and I would highly recommend this cabin as a place to vacation. It is everything you could hope for. It was a GEM!

Nicer than the listing description (and that is pretty nice)

The view from the porch is breathtaking and the shoreline is broad and delightful. The cottage is cozy, clean and nicely laid out, but other than sleeping, we spent almost all of our stay outdoors. There were a couple things we could have used in the kitchen (cookie sheet, small bowls), but we will know to bring those things next time. The only reason we've slightly marked down the communication score is that we received an email that we had a message from the property manager on our check-in date. When we went to VRBO to retrieve it, there was nothing there.

Peaceful Retreat

This cottage was everything we were looking for, for a little R&R! The setting is lovely and totally private. We spent most of our time on the roomy covered porch overlooking the water. The well equipped kitchen was perfect for meal prep. Hand/dish soap, salt/pepper, and paper towels are provided - just bring consumables (plastic wrap, foil, spices, oils, etc). We did all of our own cooking, including use of the charcoal grill. The property is in excellent condition and very comfy. Management is easy to work with. The little creek in front of the cottage is a big bonus if you enjoy wildlife viewing, which we do. Two of our favorite UP destinations, Fayette Historic Townsite and the Munising area/ Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore are only a short drive away. Enjoy Lake Superior and your own private Lake Michigan beach in the same day!
