The cottage has a fantastic outdoor space on the water with plenty of privacy. The inside of the cottage was very clean and the beds were comfortable. I appreciated how helpful the host was with providing information and answering questions. Would recommend staying here!

We had a wonderful time at this lovely cottage! It had everything we needed for a perfect vacation. Our family spent a week here and especially enjoyed the outdoor space, with several different seating areas to relax in. The outdoor bar was an excellent addition and made our evenings extra fun. The cottage was exceptionally clean, very well-equipped, and cozy. We truly felt at home and would love to return!

We had a great time at this cottage. It was very clean and was the perfect size for our family of 6. We enjoyed the space in the back yard, especially the river front and the kayaks! The cottage has a nice comfortable and private feel to it. It was equipped with everything we needed. We also enjoyed the cute coffee shop up town after our hike at Chutes Coulonge Park.

Amazing place. Our second year in a row coming here and would come again. The new bathroom is a great addition and we had a blast with the karaoke machine! Only one minor thing it could use a few more plates and some bigger glasses.

The only reason we didn't give it a 5 star was due to the construction right next door ( 30 - 40 feet away ) we weren't told of this when we booked, but only found out a week before our booking. Also, the other neighbour had two dogs that just run free all the time and when they came onto the rental property our dogs would go bananas. That wasn't the owners fault but made our stay unpleasant as we were now constantly looking over our shoulders for these dogs when we we outside.

Beautiful spot. We'll be making this cottage part of our annual summer vacation. The beach is perfect and the kids loved jumping from the dock. Our dogs had a blast as well. Chowdhury is a great host and was quick to reply to messages. Thank you!

We had a really great stay at this property. Beds were comfy, lots of different seating areas outside, and the beach / shallow water was perfect for kids. We loved using the kayaks. The host was very quick to respond to any questions. A little construction noise that he warned us about but it didn’t bother us at all. The privacy of the property made it extremely quiet otherwise. Thank you!

Beautiful!

The cottage was the perfect place to relax and enjoy some quality family time with our two teenagers! The beach was great, the kayaking was incredible, and the sunsets were out-of-this-world!! Best of all, it was quiet and comfortable. We would go back anytime : )

Un endroit merveilleux

Un endroit merveilleux! Chalet propre, confortable et fonctionnel. Grand terrain. Petite plage, quai, accès à la Rivière des Outaouais pour faire du paddleboard ou du kayak. Endroit pour faire un feu. Piste cyclable à proximité. Aussi, le propriétaire Chowdhury a été d’une disponibilité impeccable pour répondre rapidement à toutes nos questions. Vraiment un très beau séjour!

Exceptional on multiple dimensions

Host was proactive, communicative, responsive and thoughtful. Unit was well stocked with all required amenities, and then some. Cleanliness was excellent. View, sand, dock, patio : all beautiful, spacious and clean. Metro grocery store nearby opens 7 days a week. Definitely plan to return to this one!

Great getaway

A little DIY feeling, but everything was very clean, well kept, complimentary water bottles, all appliances and furnishings in good shape. Most importantly, the location was excellent, great little beach for the kids to play in. Good launching ground for the kayaks (also provided by the property owner). Can’t say enough about how great it was, the owner was extremely communicative, responsive and helpful. Really felt like it was important to them that we had a great time.

Highly recommend.

As advertised, clean, organized, very spacious and has all the amenities you would need. Beautiful waterfront property with lots to do outside. Great wifi for rainy days. The host is very kind, and available at all times to be of any assistance.

Despite the weather, our stay was perfect. Needed a place near to Pembroke to visit elderly friend, this cottage has everything needed for our stay. Well equipped, lovely location, felt like "coming home" Thanks again

Great Location for a family

The property was just as advertised. A great fit for our young family with the excellent sand beach and gradual slope into the water. The cottage was clean and well equipped. Incredible Experience

My family and I had a lovely stay. The location is beautiful and the host had anticipated our every need. As someone else had mentioned, the cottage is even nicer in person. We couldn’t have asked for anything more, but the host was so prompt in every response, I know we would have been taken care of. We will be back next year!

Nice cottage on Ottawa river

Easy check in, listing was very accurate. Cottage was well stocked with everything that you could need. Right on Ottawa river kayaks and good life jackets available. Plenty of outdoor chairs to watch the motorboats go by or to sit by the fire at night.The host Chowdhury was very quick to answer any questions I had. My two year old granddaughter had so much fun she didn't want to leave. Will definitely return if we can in the future.

On the positive side the oven and fridge were immaculately clean and the beds were comfortable. The BBQ was so dirty (and rusted) that we had to spend an hour cleaning it. The well water has such an unpleasant smell and taste we used bottled water to brush our teeth and rinse vegetables. While the location is nice, the outside of the cottage did not seem to have had good spring cleaning and the beautiful gardens weeded. The deck was freshly painted but some of the boards are soft and rotting underneath.
