“St Kilda East Backpackers. We walked in, not one to book us in, not that that mattered, we couldn't stay there. smelt like dead rats, worse than if you pictured a hovel. We rang the owner, and Wotif rang the owner. Both responses were if people want a clean place to stay, they should go somewhere else. I would be very surprised if Wotif allow this hostel to book through them ever again.”

“A basic but very adequate hotel. No bar and no restaurant (except for breakfast) but honestly you don’t need those when in this area - there are so many eateries and drinking establishments in the vicinity. The rooms are very large and spacious with good showers - absolutely fine hotel in a great location. Not luxury but very comfortable- would stay again. ”

“Room clean. Reported leaking tap in bathroom. Not dripping but continually running and unable to stop it. Couch comfortable. Bed comfortable but not stable. When partner turned over in his sleep the whole bed wobbled. Had a beautiful meal at Dad Vietnamese restaurant around the corner. Easy walk to Prahran train station ”

“This property was so old, the shower had a big crack in the base, it smelt, the bed was terrible , it had lots of permanent people living there, there was hardly any parking, i would not recommend this propery to anybody”

“Lindo hotel, bien ubicado, muy cerca de estación de metro, nos quedamos en depto de 2 domirotios, muy cómodo. Lo único malo es que a veces hacían el aseo muy tarde ”

“Onsite parking for a fee but secure. Staff were lovely. The room however was dirty. Hair in the shower drain and needed a good clean. Not impressed. In the kitchen if you have the kettle on and plug in laptop (which is what we did) it trips the fuse and you have no power. Not good. Luckily we were only there for one night. The coffee machine in reception is good however again, not cleaned properly. ”

“Room was in fair condition a few bits of furniture that were tatty. Beds were comfortable. Said it was a studio but more like a normal hotel bedroom just with a microwave and toaster as extra. No balcony although there was one outside the window which was connected to the room next door which was a bit weird as they could walk past our window and look in to our room. The staff were excellent very helpful. Not really close to anything beach was about a mile away only an Aldi next door”
