“We booked this lodge almost a year ago. It is a new and there were no reviews at the time of booking. We arrived at 1330 and we were not able to access our room until 1400. Once we entered the room the temperature was well over 90F/32C. There is no fan in the room. There are two small windows in the rear, however there is no screen to keep the bugs out. When we went to the front desk to request a portable fan were we told none were available. We ended up sitting outside the room until 1800. We...

“We arrived at the lodge’s main entrance road sign about 6pm, myself and two young daughters after a full day of driving, tired and hungry. The main entrance road was blocked by trees branches clearly arranged in a line across the road. No written sign to redirect traffic or explain. We drove on to see if there was another entrance, there was none. we drove back to the main entrance I got out of the car removed the branches and drove up to the lodge to find the road had been washed away a short...

“The Lodge is just outside the Serengeti Park, on a hill, with a nice view. Rooms are confortable even if not luxus, the restaurant is good and the people serving were friendly, by warm weather it is very nice to sit outside and look far into the park. I found the people at the reception quite cold and distanced, a pity.”
