“The hotel is absolutely perfect. The place itself is small and has a boutique feeling to it. The pool with salty warm water is perfect. The staff is quite helpful, kind and flexible since we were traveling with a baby. The breakfast is continental style for beautifully served with warm bread and fresh squeezed orange juice. The hotel room comes with a complementary wine hotel. If I had to make a couple of suggestions is to have more than one high chair available since sometimes there is more...

“The hotel is set on a hillside facing the Douro River. Our room had an incredible view. The place is quiet and well-maintained. Our room was clean and had all the amenities of home. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast and they offered to make you eggs and pancakes. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.”

“The room was modern and spotless, the views were beautiful, the breakfast was plentiful. Beatriz was an absolute angel, from making reservations at recommended restaurants, to organising taxis, she often checked in on us to see if we needed anything. What a wonderful find, I'm sure we'll be back! Thank you!”

“Fully equipped.Nice view over the Douro valley. The hosts are very friendly and ready to help or provide information about what to see and do in the region.”

“Great house for a big family! Hist was super nice!”

“Disappointing Service and Lack of Basic Hospitality My experience at this hotel was unfortunately marred by poor customer service. * Unhelpful Staff: The personnel were generally unsupportive and unwilling to assist with basic information. * Parking Issues: There is no on-site parking. The alternative they recommend costs an unreasonable €60 per night. * Poor Bar Service: The bartender was rude and provided substandard service. * Petty Charges: After a three-night stay, we asked to store...
