"As Ships Go By" es un excelente alquiler de vacaciones en Metro Detroit, ubicado en Marine City, uno de los principales destinos del sureste de Michigan y el oeste de Ontario. Relaxed!

Great place to relax and unwind. Enjoyed watching the ships pass by. Two Eating area inside and outside. Pleanty of room to spread out. Fishing off the dock. We had a wonderful time there. Pete and Karen are so friendly and helpful. Definitely love to go there again. ❤️

Awesome rental

This is a wonderful property. The hosts are gracious and welcoming. If you are a freighter maven like my husband and I, this is the place to be. It's right on the St. Clair River, and you can watch the freighters go by day and night. This is our fourth stay at this location, and we are already planning to go back next year.

Merry time Christmas

A girls' trip to Marine City for their Merry time Christmas day. We love the shops and restaurants in downtown and Pete is a great host. The house is very clean and comfortable. He had it decorated for Christmas which was so appreciated. This is our third stay at this property and would stay again.

Comfortable. Beautifully and interestingly decorated. Kitchen well stocked with cookware and appliances. Great views of the river and the big ships from first and second floor sunrooms, back deck and the dock out on the water. Grounds and gardens lovely. Convenient location too between Marine City and Harsens Island. WE'LL BE BACK!

Great Stay

Pete was an amazing host. Pete and his wife were so helpful and gracious and they even took us on a little ride aboard their boat. The place was beautiful and clean and it is a great place to relax. I highly recommend and will definitely return again!!

What an awesome stay! The place was just as advertised and the hosts were just as gracious as the reviews indicated. There were 6 of us for a fishing trip and we had everything we needed. Location was great...just south of the MC launch. Sure hope we can duplicate this 4 day stay again. Thanks for the great experience!

Still a great place to stay

We love this property. This was our 3rd year to stay, and we will be back for year 4 next year. It has a wonderful old cottage feel, which reminds me of the cottage I grew up with. The hosts, Pete and Karen, are delightful. Thanks, Pete and Karen! See you next year!

My go to vacation ; A piece of heaven Few weeks ago, We had a wonderful summer weekend with my family staying at Pete and Karen’s property, who were amazing hosts. We had a great time there, playing , eating, going sightseeing and more. Words can’t describe how wonderful, warm and friendly they are. They took care of everything even the smallest ones such as providing children with different type of games and board games which , Pete and Karen extremely kid and nice to my son and their adorable dog “Sandy” was so friendly and played with my son. The cottage was extremely beautiful and surrounded by the river and trees. Having easy access to grocery, restaurants and antiques shops. I really recommend this beautiful place if you want to have quality time with your Family sitting on the deck and having sip of wine. Another point about the exotic place if like sunny weather. I would highly recommend you to go there on your summer vacation. If you have kids this is where you definitely go. If there were more than five star I could give him 10.

Wonderful cottage on the river

This is a delightful cottage on the St. Clair River with two glassed in porches to watch the water from. The hosts are awesome. We will be back next year - no need to look for another place.

Family Christmas Get Away

Great place to relax and enjoy the scenery. The property owners Pete and Karen were very gracious and made sure we felt at home. We want to especially thank them for the Christmas tree and decorations. The house furnishings are very charming, with attention to nautical and golf themes. If you enjoy ship viewing, this is the place to be, the viewing rooms (upstairs and downstairs) are the perfect place for ship viewing, reading or playing games with the family. We would definitely come back during the summer.

So clean and adorable

I’ve never been in a cleaner rental house. They did an amazing job. So friendly and hospitable. We also loved the views of the boats and river. One of the best stays we have ever had in a rental and we’ve been to many.
