4th of July fun

We had a wonderful time at this property. We stayed here a couple of years ago and couldn't wait to stay again. Lots of activities to do around the property and kept the whole family busy. Loved being close to the ski area for our water tubing loving kids. The kayaks were great and the little beach area kept our 3 year old entertained for hours. This property is a gem!

Loved Everything About It!

Home is beautiful and smelled so good!Would easily sleep 13 to 14 people Outside furniture made a great place to hangout Dining room had a big table so we all could eat together The views from the upstairs bedroom were gorgeous. Love the sitting areas in the bedrooms. Our five-year-old granddaughter said, "Maw Maw, I really like our new home!"

Grill

When we arrived there was not a grill like they had listed under amenities, I contacted the owner and they had their maintenance person, purchase a new one and put it together Friday during the day. I think this shows they will go above and beyond for their customers. Thank You again!

The perfect lake spot!

Gorgeous lake front property!! Perfect for adults and kids. Host provided everything to make our stay easy and fun. The kayaks were a nice touch. Sunset views were unbelievable.

Fishing Trip '24

Our second time staying at this home for an annual fishing trip. This is an amazing home with the best view of the lake. The home accomdated 9 of us with no problem, indoors and out. Close to everything we needed. Within walking distance of the Cross eyed Bear which has excellent food, service and staff! Hopeful to stay next year and even bringing our wives back to this area later this summer. Chandler was great to communicate with and very responsive!

Beautiful and relaxing

The house is beautifully kept and clean. The location could not be better! Extremely private on the point; it basically feels like an island. Loved using the kayaks. Plenty of kitchenware, lots of towels for beach and bathroom. It feels remote but there are stores with essentials nearby. The beach wagon was so helpful! We loved the porch the most - great furniture. We'll be back!

Disappointing - poor upkeep and not as advertised

Some nice perks, but disappointing overall. The property offers a nice peninsula location for lake views, large yard for playing outside, and nicely updated bathrooms. The kayaks provided were the best we've ever used. However, we were disappointed in the lack of upkeep on this property. The biggest disappointment was the lack of beach. It is advertised as one of the amenities and included in the photos. In reality, it was a mud bank, not a beach. The photos were clearly very outdated, and the beach has not been kept up. The kids were excited to be able to play on the beach during our stay, and ended up not having one after all. The doors on the property are also poorly maintained. The front door was EXTREMELY difficult to open and close. Other interior doors were also difficult to open and shut as well, and the master closet door was broken. Beyond that, we felt the owners didn't provide everything we needed - just 6 rolls of toilet paper in the entire 3-bathroom house for 7 people for five days, and no hand soap at the kitchen sink. Details like this are frustrating, because then we had to go to the store and buy those items during our vacation. We rated lower on the cleaning because the main areas seemed clean, but the windows were filled with dirt and dead bugs.

Summer getaway

We had a wonderful stay in the house. It was very spacious for our group of 9 adults. The house was equipped nicely and the beds were very comfortable. The outside seating area was the best we have ever had, plenty of chairs for everyone to relax and enjoy the beautiful view of the lake from all sides. It was especially nice due to it rained one day and we were able to sit out there and enjoy the view thru rain drops. Being on the point was the best. We will definitely come back to this house again. Thanks Chandler.

Lake House Weekend

Very nice property and excellent location! Only thing missing was a pontoon but we knew that going in! The house was very clean and had everything we needed. We had no problems with check-in and had an overall great stay. Thanks! We will be back!

Awesome location

Best location on the lake, plenty of room inside and on the property outside. Quite and remote. Chandler provided great communication with us and helped us with all of our needs. We are already booking it for next year.

Perfect Place on the Lake

Really enjoyed the location and the house. The house was impeccable and spacious. We were able to play games outside and even built a bon fire right on the shore line. It was wonderful!

Best location on the lake!

We had a group of family ages 6 months to 93! This property is by far the best location on the lake. We enjoyed the huge yard and my son was able to practice some baseball while enjoying our lake vacation. The beach could have used a little more sand but other than that we had a wonderful time! We stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed the location right by the ski area for tubing with the kids. Being next to the marina was also a plus and we walked there to eat the first night. The neighborhood was great for taking evening walks with the kids in strollers. We will definitely be back!

Perfect for a Larger Group

Myself and friends picked Lake of Egypt for our annual fishing trip. This place worked perfectly for our group size both inside and out. Plenty of parking, indoor and outdoor furniture was very comfortable. The view and quiet, private location have to be the best on the lake. Macks Marina is a very short drive away along with the Cross Eyed Bear which has a great staff and food. Great communication with the owner/Property Manager and home was well stocked. Hope to stay here on our next trip to Lake of Egypt.

Stayed for a weekend bachelor party and there was plenty room for 10 people. We had room enough for 3 boats on the dock. One of the best spots on the lake as we had the entire point to ourselves. Will definitely be back!
