Before you arrive make sure to print out all the information that the owner sends you. There is no cell phone or internet reception in the area. “We stayed here over spring break with a large family group—my family of four, my sister's family of four, our grandparents, and our aunt. Communication with the host was excellent—clear, prompt, and helpful. Check-in was seamless, and the home was easy to find using GPS.As noted in the listing, the driveway is steep, but both our vehicles (a Chevy Suburban and a Chrysler Pacifica) handled it with no issues. The home itself was exactly as described and looked just like the photos—if not better....

“So glad we found this beautiful property. Nested in the hills of the NC Mountains close to Lake James. We had a large family and the house didn’t disappoint. The views are spectacular, something for all ages and the little touches are so thoughtful. Game room and pool table were a hit daily and our pups enjoyed themselves too. We will be back!”
