  • Después de un día de caminatas y explorando el cercano Parque Nacional de Yosemite, ven a tu propio refugio privado en la cima de una colina y disfruta de las inigualables vistas de Sierra hasta donde alcanza la vista. Esta casa está ubicada a 2 millas de los encantadores restaurantes y boutiques del centro de Mariposa, pero aislada y alejada de todo clima Hwy 140, lo que hace que su viaje a la entrada de El Portal sea muy sencillo. Las vistas desde esta propiedad se pueden disfrutar desde la ventana de cada habitación, la bañera de hidromasaje, la piscina, la sala de juegos y la nueva terraza.

    Le damos la bienvenida a Oaks at Lakeview, un refugio en la cima de una colina que ha sido meticulosamente planificado para su disfrute. Desde el momento en que ingresa a la casa, lo alentamos a colgar su sombrero, patear sus pies y disfrutar de su estadía. Tendrá que decidir si eso será junto a la gran chimenea de piedra, afuera en la nueva y amplia terraza de secoya que se sumerge en las vistas o en la bañera de hidromasaje que reproduce su música favorita desde los altavoces al aire libre. Hemos abastecido nuestra casa de arriba a abajo para que realmente pueda disfrutar de nuestro espacio como si fuera suyo. Ya sea que encienda la parrilla al aire libre o cocine en la estufa de gas, tenemos sus elementos esenciales cubiertos.

The outdoor amenities and layout are well designed and highlight the property. Location to Yosemite park entrance (45 mins) and village of Mariposa (8 mins) strikes an excellent balance.

National Park Getaway

My family booked this home based on the proximity to the local town and distance to Yosemite. It has great sunrise views on the deck. The hot tub was nice and we utilized it well. The game room was lacking and we had an issue with the water at the house but the property manager promptly took care of it, even on a Sunday. We don’t believe the value was worth the cost, but we enjoyed our stay.

Most peaceful stay

Christina was extremely helpful to us! We greatly enjoyed everything about this property - very well kept inside and out, extremely quiet and peaceful, located in close proximity to town of Mariposa and to Yosemite. We would return again in a heartbeat, we enjoyed our stay over New Year's so much. Thank you for everything Christina!

Amazing view

This house was perfect and comfortable for our family of 5. The beds were all very comfortable and we never had a bad nights sleep. The view is just stunning. We were up every mornong watching the sun come over the mountains. Juat breathtaking and could spend hours just looking out. The back yard area was also very well maintained, and landscaped beautifully and had all the entertainment we could need.

Overpriced-Poor Service

We booked this house, willing to pay more for the amenities it advertised. It turned out it was not worth it. The fire pit/deck area had a large bee infestation. I reported it to the owner. She said she’d send out her landscaper. They never responded. We attempted to clear it out, no luck. Unfortunately didn’t allow us to use the deck or enjoy the Fire-pit. The Hot tub was dirty, and barely functional. I again, reported to the owner, and reminded her about the bees. Only to give me an ultimatum to check out early or give me a $100 refund. She seemed to not have any concern, and ultimately accused me of trying to get a free stay. For the bees, she said they are a part of nature, she wouldn’t be doing anything about it. While the house and location are excellent. The customer service fell short. She was responsive, but with attitude, and ended up not addressing anything. Broken Hot Tub Broken Foosball table(not reported to owner) Not useable sundeck(bees) Not useable Fire pit(bees) FYI the house has a fireplace, but don’t bring wood. You can only use duraflame logs. Not allowed to burn wood. Our stay in the area was great, the house was very nice, but the owner’s lack of concern and perceived attitude drives my rating. She did end up refunding $100 for the hot tub, but given her poor service and the overall cost it was insulting.

Perfect family time location!

We have 4 kids 12 to 20 years old and hadn't been together as a family since Christmas. This home, the location, the amenities...everything, was just perfect! We even canceled one of our days in the park to just be at the house as a family. Playing in the pool, grilling meals...some of the best memories of the week. The host was easy to deal with and responded promptly to any questions. Thank you for such a special week!

Spectacular!

We have stayed in a lot of rentals and can’t say enough about this house. Located ~ an hour from Yosemite (during peak 4th of July, likely shorter during other times) it had great access to the park and just a short drive into Mariposa for groceries and restaurants. We, however, would have been fine just staying at the house. It was super clean, beds were very comfortable and the backyard was the star. We couldn’t wait to relax in the hot tub after hiking each day and loved just hanging on the deck overlooking an amazing view. It was also so well equipped with even the simple touches - well stocked kitchen, towels that wrapped around the body, blankets to lounge on the couch, games to play, hand soap at every sink. The driveway is long, a bit windy and a little steep but it is worth it.

Beautiful property

The property was beautiful. You were just out of town but felt like you were a million miles away from everyone. Easy access to Yosemite. Only complaint was low water pressure.

Perfect place for RR and adventure!

My family booked Christina's place for Christmas and it was perfect! The house was amazing--beautifully decorated, well-stocked for our cooking needs, spacious, and cozy. I loved that there were games for us to play and a fireplace to sit around. The property was even more amazing. The views were incredible from the top of the hill! The photos don't do it justice! The landscaping was beautiful, the hot tub was relaxing, and it had everything we needed and more to have a good time. While the house felt super secluded, it was also only an hour's drive to Yosemite Valley and 7 minutes to the town of Mariposa which was fun to explore for the day. It is up a dirt road, but it's well maintained and we made it perfectly fine with our Prius even in the rain. Lastly, Christina, is a wonderful host. She was communicative, accomodating, and super responsive to any inquiries that I had. I would definitely go back! Thank you so much, Christina!

Nice Oaks and Acorns

Beautiful property! We enjoyed Thanksgiving day and had all we needed to prepare and enjoy our feast. We also used the hottub and sat by the outside fire, enjoying the view, and it was wonderful! We drove 45 minutes to Yosemite. The bunkbeds were not ideal for adults, but we all had a bed. The bathrooms were nice. We enjoyed our stay.

Oaks, Acorns, and a Wonderful Time

A Little Bit of Paradise

I hesitate to submit a review for fear of letting others in on this gem, but Christina, the landlord, was so darn nice and helpful, I am compelled. She is the hostess with the mostest. First of all, the property is gorgeous. The home is extremely comfortable, clean and spacious and up to date, inside and out. It has everything a family or group of friends would need for an amazing trip - whether as a jumping off point to Yosemite, the town of Mariposa (5 min away) or just as a destination in and of itself. One could easily relax and have fun at the home all day. The kitchen is modern and well equipped for cooking or gathering. Sleeping accommodations are very comfortable. The outdoor area with the pool, spa, games and deck with outdoor living room and firepit is just so fun and relaxing. The property sits at the top of a hill, so the views are amazing and go on forever. By the way, it's super kid friendly with the backyard attractions and the bedroom with bunks for four. There is also a washer/dryer on premises which comes in handy after a day of hiking or an afternoon in the pool. I will be back.

Beautiful Hill Top Retreat

We chose due to proximity to Yosemite, but our family looked forward to our evenings together at the house almost as much as seeing El Capitan.

Views for days

Unbelievable views. VERY country and secluded - we had a visit from a group of rather billigerent goats one day. Property is made to be a comfortable and accessible for all visitors. We had a masseuse and private chef come and everything worked perfectly for outdoor massage and dinner by the fire - highly recommend.

The Perfect Vacation Rental

We have stayed at many vacation rentals over the year and this was absolutely one of the best. The outdoor spaces were so lovely, everyone in our group felt like we were staying in our own private resort. Communication with the owner was fast and seamless, so many details in the house thought through ahead of time. Can’t wait to visit again!
