The pictures do not this place justice. We will be back. The screen porch was nice to enjoy your morning coffee. The pool and hot tub makes this place great for a family vacation spot. We didn't use the game room but it is a nice place for a family to relax for an evening.

Nice and Relaxing

We enjoyed our stay at the Great Yosemite retreat. The house was very nice and clean. We were in a quiet neighborhood. The pool, hot tub and game room provide lots of relaxing activities. Amenities are a but of a drive but just plan accordingly and you will be fine.

Great family vacation

Very clean and well represented property. Great communication with the homeowners. We used the hot tub nightly after a full day of hiking Yosemite. I highly recommend this house and we found it larger then we expected.

Cute place to stay.

This place is super cute and a pretty good location for visiting Yosemite. During peek hours it will take about 1.5 hours to get to the park entrance. The good: the house is neat, well decorated and comfortable. The beds are comfortable and the ac is great! The not so good: the oven does not work but owners said they would fix it right away. We asked them to wait until we leave to send a repair person but it was after we set our dinner on fire. Lol. There is also a pest issue but again they said they were going to handle it and I believe them. They were very responsive and accommodating to our issues. Overall it’s a great little location with a nice spa and pool and great location. The owners were great.

Yosemite get away

Amazing time. Location is great for either Yosemite visit or Bass Lake activities. Nice view, relaxing hot tub. Birds, frogs, squirrels, and deer all visited while we were here.

Relaxing stay

We had a great time during our stay. It was relaxing stay for us. Only thing was the stove is not level so everything you cook in the oven wi be burnt/ uneven. Also not enough towels and hand towels for the week. other than that we would come back again.

Great retreat in need of maintenance

I don't want to overly skew the enjoyment we had at this property by pointing out some necessary maintenance issues that seem to have been dropped but the big thing was we decided to go with this property because of this amenities like the hot tub and the pool and the game room and all of those things has something wrong with them the pool pump was leaking the hot tub now the jet controllers worked and the cover was damaged and the game room the darts didn't have any fins on them little things but I love the house I love the setting love the property and I think if someone just went up there with a high towards getting it right it would be great obviously the housekeeping staff has done fabulous job the inside is pristine

This was an amazing property with numerous amenities. Great proximity to Yosemite! Comfy beds and fully equipped kitchen. Hot tub was great to come home to after days of hiking. Would definitely stay here again!

Great place

Communication with the host was great the whole time of our stay. Upon arrival, they asked us to check if there were any issues around the house & to notify them immediately & it gave us a piece of mind for us in our stay there. The space was comfortable for 5 adults. Spacious yard in both the front & back. Great location. Lots of activities to do at the place. Kitchen had dishes & utensils which was great as well. We would definitely come back to this spot for a nice, relaxing getaway! Thank you Jazzy & David!

Amazing location

We loved this place! It is beautiful, there is so many places to drive at and Yosemite is a plus to visit. Mariposa is a cute little town and the weather is amazing. Even thou the dishwasher is not working it wasn’t a big deal because the jacuzzi and the pool made it for my family and pet friendly

Yosemite Family Hiking Trip

This place was such a fun stay, it was clean, beautiful, had any amenities we needed, etc. I love that they allow dogs! the check-in and check out process was easy to follow and we had no complaints at all! We would love to come back here if we could one day.

An Absolute Gem!

Of all the places we reviewed to stay in the Yosemite area this one caught our eye. The pictures were something out of a high-end resort. Our expectations were exceeded once we arrived until the day we left. The interiors were so modern and clean. The view from the rear yard was breathtaking. Especially if you were viewing it from the relaxing hot tub while it freshly snowed. Wow! Whether being visited by the occasional deer or turkey or partaking in a game of pool or darts this place had everything you could ever ask for in woodsy get-away. I would highly recommend and will definitely stay here again for our next visit to Yosemite! Thank you Jazzy and David. You were responsive and gracious hosts.

Birthday week

We had a wonderful road trip from San Diego to Mariposa. Made a quick grocery stop at Vons that is 15 min away from the property. Once arriving the property, everything was nice a clean and we were ready to unpacked. I would say the amount of space was just right for our family. One big reason I picked this property was because it provided basic everything you might need. We use the kitchen that was well stocked with everything you would need to cook your food. My family ready enjoy the house and felt instantly at home which went it came time to pack up they just wanted to stay a little longer. We definitely would love to come and rent this property again. Amazing Dog-friendly Retreat

Great location! Short drive to Oakhurst and about an hour to the park. The amenities really offset any concerns about the distance for us. This property has anything you could ask for - grill, hot tub, pool table, high-quality stove, televisions - and more. Deer and turkey crossed the property daily. Definitely keep dogs on a leash! Look forward to returning.

Amazing property and awesome host!

The property is wonderful, clean, spacious and exactly as advertised. In fact much more spacious than we thought from the photos. The fireplace, the hot tub, and the nice morning views were the best combo to relax and Yosemite was 1.5 hrs away which was convenient for us. Also the fenced yard was a big plus for the pup. Jazzy was super responsive and helpful. Definitely will book again!

Perfect place to get away

Driving out to this location in the middle of the night was definitely scary for me because you are pretty far in nature. But stepping inside, you see the beauty of the property, then when the sun comes up in the morning it was amazing to see the trees, the view, and several deer! It was a great place with so many amenities and I have already recommended it to my family! I would definitely stay here again!

Wildlife and Amazing Views

Great spot for a little deer watching and plenty of turkeys running around. The views are plentiful looking out from the back patio. Incredible spot to host a family or small group of friends.
