Set at around 4,000 feet elevation within the gated Wolf Laurel Resort, Whispering Creek combines classic log cabin character with a peaceful wooded setting in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Located just off Wolf Laurel Road on Greer Way, the cabin offers easy paved access while keeping the quiet mountain atmosphere that defines Wolf Laurel.

Inside, the completely renovated kitchen, dining and living area creates a welcoming main gathering space, complemented by brand-new living room and bedroom furnishings. The main level includes a queen bedroom and full bathroom with a tub/shower, while the upper floor offers a second queen bedroom and another tub/shower. The loft will soon be furnished with two twin beds, bringing comfortable accommodation to six guests.

Newly installed skylights fill the cabin with natural light during the day and provide views of the stars after dark. When the weather turns, the sound of rain on the metal roof adds to the cabin's mountain character.

Outdoor living is one of Whispering Creek's highlights. Settle into the covered front porch to enjoy the cool mountain air and wooded surroundings, or head to the back patio for a soak in the brand-new hot tub.

The cabin provides convenient access to hiking and biking trails, including the Appalachian Trail, and is less than a quarter mile from skiing at Hatley Pointe. Smoke & Timber restaurant is also located within the ski resort. Asheville's dining and brewery scene and the cultural attractions of Johnson City, Tennessee, are within driving distance.

Whispering Creek offers a comfortable base for enjoying the natural beauty, outdoor recreation and mountain atmosphere of Western North Carolina and Wolf Laurel.

Please note that all-wheel or 4-wheel drive vehicles are required during January and February in case of inclement weather. No pets, please.
