“We enjoyed our stay. Convenient for long walks and for us better than staying in bridport. The bathroom was on the small side. We felt that our recently refurbished room could do with another refurbish along with the rest of the hotel. It was adequate though and the staff were very friendly ”

“The location of the cottage is wonderful, down a quiet lane with views over the river Asker and common but with it's own parking place and very near the town centre. The equipment is adequate but quite basic. We weren't able to put the central heating on during the daytime when there was a cold spell, without requesting assistance from the housekeeper. The housekeeper was extremely helpful and friendly. The house was very clean with a comfortable bed.”

“This is an amazing property………Classic somerset cottage equipped with all modern conveniences. Super quiet (well a few tractors collecting the harvest!). We all slept very well. It takes 30 mins to walk into Ilminster along a country trail past Dillington Hall for those that like a good walk. About 8 mins by car. We made day trips to the Haynes motor museum (amazing if you are a car buff…..some days they bring cars out of the museum and you can ‘poke around’ at them) and to Lyme Regis, which has...
