“My stay based around visiting a very sick friend not sight seeing. The food was pretty good and staff friendly. ”

“We asked for a ground floor room, were told we would be given one, and were put in a second floor room. The external stairs to the room were steep and not at all recommended for anyone suffering from knee issues. The room itself was fine, although there was no iron (which I only mention because I would've liked to use it, not a huge deal!). Microwave and fridge and crockery and utensils were great. “Big rooms but old world shouldn’t mean dusty and tired. Needed a good clean up and refresh. Cochroaches were not a good addition either!”

“Totally immaculate! Beautifully presented with lovely white sheets, pillow slips and towelling. Not a mark anywhere. Gorgeous gardens, plenty of convenient parking spaces. The property is listed as a " motel" but that doesn't do justice to it. Built around an historic home, it's way more than that. We will stay here again.”

“ Location was the only Plus !! We booked at this estate because it was offering Morning breakfast. It also showed a restaurant which offered Lunch and Dinner!! It was a total disappointment! When we contacted for the breakfast, the guy told us he will keep it outside our door. We expected breakfast that was already made but what we got was the ingredients to make breakfast!
