  • Maryville is located 45 minutes from Pigeon Forge/Sevierville, 35 minutes from Townsend and Cades Cove in the Great Smokey Mountains, 2 miles from Ruby Tuesday world headquarters in downtown Maryville, and 10 minutes from Knoxville's Mcghee-Tyson airport.

    The 'Cottage' is our guest house adjacent to our home on 12 acres in the city of Maryville.

    We invite you to relax with your morning coffee or afternoon martini on the screened-in porch overlooking the swimming pool or have your coffee around the pool with views of the Smokies.

    Our 'Cottage' has over 1000 square feet and features a large master bedroom with a king size 4 poster bed and a mattress that our guests tell us is the best they have ever slept on and French doors overlooking the pool.

    The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and includes a dishwasher, microwave, and ice maker. The living room has a queen size sleeper sofa and two sets of French doors overlooking the pool.

Lovely Cottage

The cottage was absolutely wonderful! I enjoyed a peaceful and relaxing stay while exploring Maryville and the surrounding areas. I hope to return in the summer for a longer stay.

Perfect getaway

Very comfortable stay. The house was private and quiet. The owners were very friendly and responsive to any minor concerns we experienced during our month stay. We would definitely stay again if in the area.

Great place to stay

Cottage was clean and had everything needed to make our stay enjoyable. Its close to downtown Maryville for shopping or eating out. The pool was a welcome bonus. The hosts were very pleasant.

Quiet retreat on 5 acres. My pup loved the freedom to chase a ball. Hosts are super nice and the pool is right outside the cottage door. After a series of negative personal experiences, this was "just what the Dr.Ordered." I can honestly say it is the nicest place I have stayed in for quite some time.

This property is just lovely. I stayed with my husband and twin teenage daughters, and we had plenty of room. We cooked dinner in the well-appointed kitchen, spent a lot of time on the screened-in patio in the mornings and evenings, and my husband and I enjoyed relaxing in the extremely comfortable high-rise bed in the spacious bedroom, while our kids greatly enjoyed the comfortable pull-out sofa bed (they reported the mattress to be VERY comfortable, as well). There are so many little details, large and small, added to increase the comfort of our stay: some of which include the huge selection of blankets and the incredible electric, massaging recliner! Charming cottage decor dotted the home, adding delight everywhere I turned. Now, let me tell you about the pool! It is heated, the perfect size, and it goes to a depth of 8 feet (I think). We had an absolute blast swimming. There are many chairs and lounges to enjoy, and it is secluded by lovely trees. Beyond that, you are surrounded by acres of peaceful land and a symphony of birds, including chickens! The owners are very attentive and responded immediately when we had a question. Would definitely return if in the area again! Many thanks!Take note: This is a guest house off of a main house. We did not realize that upon booking, though it really did not end up making much of a difference.

Exceptional!

This is our second stay here and just as before this property is exceptionally clean! Great location in Maryville, TN close to UT Hospital, Pigeon Forge and Knoxville. Awesome pool! Wife thoroughly enjoyed celebrating her birthday relaxing by the pool! Thanks Richard and Martha for another awesome stay!

Great place to stay

The host's are the nicest people you could want to meet. Very private with five acres to walk around for exercise. The pool is kept in pristine condition. Very quiet. No noise from the road can be heard. Enjoyed our stay very much.

Beautiful property

We loved everything about the cottage. The location and the property it sits on is beautiful. Richard and Martha are very nice and we didn’t even know anyone was there all week. Thankfully, we got to meet them our last night there and we sat outside and chatted. We loved our stay.

Great location

Great location, minutes from interstate, grocery store and fast food. It’s a one hour drive to the Gatlinburg but worth the scenic drive. Pool area and grounds are phenomenal and very well kept. Cottage is bigger than pictures show and plenty of privacy.
