We were extremely disappointed and frustrated with the service provided for this rental. The poor service was shocking since we have rented multiple Vacasa managed properties in other states and have never had a bad experience. Upon arrival, the door code did not work. It took Vacasa over an hour to respond to us and the suggestion was “just keep trying the code”. This was fun after a 7-hour drive. They finally gave us the passcode to retrieve the key. The next day, someone came out to reset the code (the original one didn’t work for him either). After resetting the code and changing the batteries,it stopped working again the next day. The lockbox obviously needs to be replaced, as other reviews have mentioned this. Once inside, the place was marginally clean, although the kitchen needs a deep cleaning as the counters, cabinets and stove are thick with grease. There were cobwebs in multiple rooms of the house. The first-floor powder room was unusable. There were other bathrooms, but we paid for a main floor w/powder room. Speaking of which, on day three of our trip, a man randomly showed up to fix the light bulbs in the unusable bathroom, as we were walking out the door to go to dinner. We had to wait, and he even asked if we had a stool he could use. We don’t own the house, and we did not bring a stool from Pennsylvania. The trash was overflowing, we brought this to Vacassa’s attention they let us know trash days are Tues. & Sat. There is more but I have limited space.
