5 Couples from Canada. The villa was incredible, every bit as beautiful as the pictures online. The bedrooms and ensuite bathrooms were so spacious. The common room was great. We spent lots of time there laughing and recapping the days. The outdoor areas were gorgeous. We spent our last day lounging by the pool. The private pizza party was amazing. We ate way more pizza than we should have.Carmine was excellent. He really took care of us and made adjustments when necessary (only due to weather). The cleaning staff were there each weekday (which seemed a bit excessive however that is how they do it) and were very pleasant to all of us.I really can't say enough about this villa. It was a 10/10.

Look no further. Villa Kalu is an amazing villa. The beach, restaurants, and services were all walking distance and ideal for a big family of 16. Everyone found something to do. The easy communication of Carmine and his team made for such a smooth trip. This is your perfect location for your goals of a Sorrento/Amalfi Coast vacation, close to both but away from the chaos. Nerano has everything you need and Villa Kalu was well stocked, the pool was perfect, and every room was beautiful. Carmine stayed in contact months in advance making recommendations along the way. You don’t get the services provided by Villa Kalu elsewhere. I had no concerns along our stay. Thank you Carmine!

The pool was amazing! It was refreshing and safe. We had little children in our party. The host (Carmine) was extremely helpful and informative.We had family cancel at the last minute due to an accident, we had other family decide to join us, we had family visit and decide to stay a few days and threw it all Carmine was understanding and accomodating. The cleaning crew was helpful and accomodating to our late sleepers. Everything was better than expected.

Wonderful house in Nerano, Italy

Fantastic house in a great location. Thanks especially to Giusy and her team for all they did for us including a lovely dinner for nine adults. Nerano had a great selection of restaurants within easy walking distance many of which we tried and enjoyed. The beach too was an easy walk from the house. Altogether a wonderful house for a large family to enjoy.

A Perfect Setting for our Family vacation

Villa Kalu’ provided our large group of 16 with the perfect setting for our family vacation in Italy. This beautiful spacious villa was spotlessly clean and large enough to comfortably accommodate all 16 of us. There are multiple gathering areas both inside and outside and the beautiful pool area was a huge hit for the teens in the group. All the bedrooms were good sizes, some with lovely views of the water. The Villa itself is bright, airy, and very welcoming. Carmine and his staff were phenomenal. They did everything to make our stay a most memorable one. All of Carmine’s suggestions were spot on, and the excursions he set up for us were so thoroughly enjoyed by all of us. He is very good at what he does. Carmine worked tirelessly to ensure that everything went smoothly and was very responsive to all of our inquiries both before and during our stay.Giusy, Catarina, and Imma (Carmine’s staff) were exceptional. They made us feel so comfortable and welcome. The special birthday dinner for our group was amazing and delicious, and the pizza party was so much fun and another a huge hit for us all!The location close to the beach, restaurants and bars, and the little market next door were so convenient, as was the proximity to boat excursions. We would not hesitate to return to Villa Kalu’ in the future. We are most grateful to have discovered this perfect setting for our family vacation.

This is a premier property! Every room is gorgeously decorated and with a beautiful bath associated with it. The pool is absolutely beautiful and there is plenty of space for quiet time and gathering with the family over meals--inside or out. The housekeeping service was such a wonderful bonus--they were so kind and courteous, and our host Carmine was wonderfully responsive before and during our stay. This is without a doubt the nicest property I have ever stayed at!

Exceeded Expectations!

Our friend/family group of 16 had the most wonderful 9 day stay! We celebrated a vow renewal and an engagement on the rooftop! This villa is perfect in every way. It was pristine and well managed. The rooms are all perfect size and easily accommodated our large group comfortably. The outdoor kitchen, pool and rooftop area are simply amazing and offer spectacular views that are breathtaking! Carmine and staff went above and beyond to make our guests feel welcome and accommodated us in every way possible. Above all, the host Carmine is superior. He went out of his way to ensure we all had a memorable and enjoyable vacation. I encourage you to not only book this villa but trust in the host Carmine to assist with any extras you may need… we had Carmine arrange a sit down dinner for 16 and officiant for the vow renewal, a day trip to Positano and Amalfi, a winery tour and tasting, personalized cooking classes and private boat charter to Capri! Carmine exceeded our expectations with all of his connections and recommendations. There is a fully stocked Bodega, many great restaurants, and a marina within walking distance to the villa. I highly recommend you consider this villa, or any other property Carmine can assist with when planning your vacation to the Amalfi Coast!

Family Get to Gether

Everything was great. It would have been nice to have a bath tub in one of the rooms and perhaps a gazebo or Pergola on the very top that shaded the sun. Could be done very inexpensively. The Pizza Party and Dinner on evening were very nice. And the pool was fabulous!! We will definitely be back!

Wonderful villa!

Villa Calú was all we had expected. Perfektion really! Really, really nice rooms and beautiful bathrooms. We had a big pool and a magnificent roof top terrace with an amazing view. Close by we had several nice restaurants and coffe shops. The house keeping added that extra feeling of luxury. 😃 If I was to suggest any improvement the only thing I can think of is maybe adding more different size glases and cups. Possibly also a few sharp knives. Thank you for a great week. Christina
