“Very tired hotel! Geo thermal pool is not geo thermal. Rooms are untidy and dirty. We had ‘willies’ drawn in to the bathroom mirror. Screws in the wall but paintings in the wardrobe. ?? Carpet was dirty and other guests rubbish still on the floor. Curtain rail was broken and hanging off the ceiling so curtain would not shut properly. Spa was very tatty. We were told on checkout that the hotel had only recently been purchased and was being renovated but that was not advertised. If you are going...

“Accomodation was larger than it looks in the photos, which was a nice surprise. The beds were comfortable, however I would take earplugs as I struggled to sleep due to the cars going past outside. I had to go and buy some from the town centre. At night the cars whizz past really fast. The listing states that there is free parking but this isn’t true- you have to pay for it. “I am so happy we stayed at the Pilsley Inn. It is located in a lovely little village just outside of Chatsworth House. I felt like I had stepped back in time. We only stayed one night as our itinerary was very full, but I would definitely recommend this Inn. the people were friendly, and it was a perfect stay for my English holiday!”
