Waterfront on Delaware Bay NJ

  • Great home on the Delaware Bay the NJ side. The house is on a bird preserve so there is a lot of wild life around. In the early summer the horse shoe crabs come lay their eggs attracting many different birds and fish. The turtles also come up and lay there eggs on the property in early July. There is a 100 foot fishing pier part of the home and ideal for the fisherman with a clean station. The home has a full kitchen, AC, Heat, washer and dryer, outdoor shower. The location is also good. 25 minutes to Avalon or 25 minutes to Cape May.

My husband and I, along with my father, had a wonderful time. Alex was the most hospitable host we ever had. Sunset on the deck was breathtaking. I felt like I was inside a watercolor snow globe.

Great Getaway Spot

The house is perfectly situated in a quiet location and within a 30-40 driving distance to the Jersey shore beaches. The accommodations were comfortable and the access to the bay was perfect for fishing, crabbing and kayaking. The host was very communicative and helpful. Definitely recommend for a family getaway!

Peaceful Escape

The property is located in a quiet, remote area and is perfect for relaxation and fishing on the dock. We caught a lot of Sand Sharks and crabs throughout the week. It was a nice time.

An amazing getaway!

We had an amazing stay at this waterfront property over the weekend and absolutely loved it. The views were stunning from sunrise to sunset, and the private dock made it feel like our own little escape. The space was peaceful, well-kept, and had that perfect blend of rustic charm and coastal relaxation. Whether we were lounging on the deck, walking along the shell-lined shore, or just enjoying the calm breeze off the water, it was exactly the getaway we needed. We’re already talking about coming back.

Total Relaxation

It was great to spend two wonder weeks at this rental. It was just what we needed. This was our second time in Heislerville this year. It was comfortable and and the Delaware Bay was beautiful.

Wonderful!

New favorite vacation spot! Beautiful. 2 of 4 mornings a dolphin pod swam right by the dock. I fell in love with all the turtles and enjoyed the osprey. Sunrise and sunset are gorgeous. The drive to Wildwood and Cape May were easy enough. The house is great. Clean, plenty of space. Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise with us, Alex!

A Fantastic Experience!

The house was very nice, clean and comfortable. It was well appointed, and we had everything we needed for a memorable weekend. The fishing was top notch and the surrounding area beautiful. The entire process from the rental, to access, to communication was the easiest I've ever encountered. We had a blast and absolutely want to go back!

Family 2024 Short Vacation

We really enjoyed our stay. Very quiet, very relaxing, great location. Enjoyed catching up with family and really enjoyed our walks on the beach area once the tide was very low. The horseshoe crabs were every where. We even returned a lot back to the water. Great trip!!

Another Terrific Stay

We love the house. It's very clean and comfortable, and the property can't be beat. Alex, the property owner, is as good as they get. The area is terrific and there's plenty to do if you're into outdoor activities like crabbing, fishing and bird watching. I wish we could stay there and never leave. 5/5 stars.

Not for everyone

This is a secluded and remote spot. We loved it but if you are looking for ice cream and restaurants and miniature golf this is not your special spot!

Off the Grid....which is exactly what I wanted...

Secluded location just down the road from the historic East Point Light House which is right on the water and more with a 100 foot pier that takes you right out over the Bay. You have fishing & crabbing just steps out the back sliding door......Or just relax with a frozen Margarita with a million dollar view of the water. Loved the place and hope to return again next year...Kevin Devaney
