Cute cozy cabin. The cabin was clean upon arrival, check in was easy. The host was quick to respond to any questions we had. Beds were decent and furniture was comfortable. The walk to the beach might be alittle long for someone with mobility issues. However for a family the yard and beach area is perfect. We would definitely stay again.

We had a great time for a 4 night stay. The house was better than expected with many updates and very clean. The owners were very responsive when we had any questions. I would highly recommend this for all ages.

Property was beautiful and very accommodating for our family! The perfect size! The beach was fantastic and the neighborhood was very peaceful. The cabin was clean and had a well sticked kitchen snd great appliances. It was just what we needed as a family of six, 4 adults and 2 kids, 7 & 8 years old. Want to come back here!

2 week lake vacay

Perfectly cute cabin! Recently updated kitchen and floors- quaint and exactly what our family of 4 needed to escape our regularly very busy lives. Awesome lake location, yard and beach- our late night beach campfires were a highlight of our stay!

Weekend Getaway

The cabin was just as described. The owners contacted us ahead of time with arrival information and key codes. We had a lovely weekend stay! I also appreciate being able to bring our family dog! Would definitely recommend.

Great Spot

We had a great time at the camp! Private serene beach area perfect for children. Nice large deck to hang out and chill on. Northville is absolutely adorable and super close. The ROKU tv was a lifesaver! Hoping to rent next year and hoping for some minor interior updates : P

The Earthly Paradise

This Lakefront Cedar Cabin has a nice vibe outside on the beach by the shore of an amazing reservoir lake. Inside the first thing you notice is the light coming through the generous windows that lead out, down a green lawn to the clear lake and sandy shore. The cabin is well-equipped including a good kitchen for preparing meals for the table on the porch. The surrounding area is lovely and the quaint town of Northville is convenient and charming. We certainly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning next summer.

Cute Place, Great Location

This place was great - beautiful location on the lake. Huge lawn leading to the lake/beach. Cabin was serviceable. Pretty small, especially the bathroom, but well-enough equipped. We had to pay extra for sheets and towels (not something I'm used to) which was a bit annoying, as it wasn't THAT cheap to stay here.

Quiet Lake Getaway

We had a nice time on our vacation. We were looking for a relaxing week away and we got it. The house was smaller than we imagined, but ended up working fine for us. The beach area is beautiful and really makes this property special. We had fires on the lake at night and it was awesome. There are neighbors nearby, but they are friendly and quiet. We enjoyed all of the local restaurants we tried. The shower is very small. If you are a large person it may be a problem for you, it worked fine for all of us. The owner always responded quickly and was very helpful (thank you).

Back Again

Our second time renting the cabin, ironically was even better than the first. We'd towed our Boston Whaler from the Mid-hudson region hoping to spend a lot of time on the water. Well, life is often different from our aspirations, and so we took the lemons and enjoyed the lemon-aid. We like to read, and so it was a good time spent with a book. We love the natural beauty of the region, and the cabin itself is attractive with large rear windows that offer a spendid view of the expansive lawn and lake. We got two days on the water, one a lucky surprise. We've been coming to Sacandaga for around twenty years. We used to camp with our daughter (who was on hand for her 31st birthday. Now that she is grown and we are older, this cabin is perfect. We'll look forward to a third time in '24!

Nice location on the lake- nice beach with shaded area too. Beach & big windows facing the lake was the best part- reason why we selected this camp.

End of summer get-away

Very cozy and comfortable camp. Huge lawn for games or relaxing. Nice view of lake over the lawn area. The beach is the best part! It's a little bit of a walk (2-3 minutes) to the beach over the lawn, but it's worth it! Sandy, secluded, relaxing! It was perfect for my 8 year old grandson and also for my active 81 year old mother. Neighbors are there, but not invasive of your enjoyment. It's our second year going back to the camp - looking forward to visiting again!

Sacandaga Cabin

Gorgeous beach, nice and sandy and gradual walk in to the water. Kitchen was very small, hard for two people to try to do dinner or breakfast at once, but that was not an issue if you cook dinner on the grill, although the temperature gauge on the grill does not work, so hopefully if you are cooking some good steaks, you know how to do it precisely. Hopefully they will also get some extra garbage cans; was told they picked up recycling every Wednesday and it is every other, so we had our friends take one bag and we left one in the cabin. After all of these comments, I have to say, I loved the place. The deck, the view and the beach are to die for

Best week ever

The cabin was clean, cozy and just perfect. We hiked and enjoyed the spectacular beach. Neighbors were very friendly. The house sits above the beach by about 100 yards. Our dogs couldn't get enough of the water. It is one of the best places on Sacandaga.

Wonderful beach!!

Clean, comfortable cabin with all we needed to relax! Great deck with barbeque grill and family size table. Big lawn for games! It is a bit of a walk to the lake over the lawn, but you can still see and enjoy the lake from the cabin. The walk to the lake is worth it - wonderful sandy beach with a picnic table. Once you are there, it is like having your own personal oasis. I spent days with my toes in the sand and a book in my hands! It was great swimming for my 6 year old grandson - gradual slope, soft sand. Highly recommend!

Heaven on Earth

This rental was the best place to spend our end of summer vacation. Breathtaking views of the private lake along with plenty of space for our pups to run around made this ideal for us. Kitchen was fully stocked for all our cooking needs. Breakfast on the deck and wine by the fire completed the great stay. Loretta was responsive to our needs and ensured our stay was perfect. Can't wait to go back next year!!! Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your little slice of heaven on earth.

Enjoyable stay

Property was clean and cozy. The sandy beach was great and our pup couldn't get enough of it. The amenities were sufficient for our stay. We never figured out how to use the TV. Some instruction on that might be helpful.

Excellent stay, accomodations were perfect for 7 adults and 1- 4yr old. Beach was beautiful, sandy.

We had a great time at this little camp. Its not extravagant but it has what need for a nice relaxing vaca with family and friends. We would definitely rent again.

Lakefront cabin as described and very clean

The cabin is as described - it is a nice lakefront cabin, great view of the lake and it was impeccably clean. Comfortable furniture and bed. Great TV in the living room. Nice deck. Weber grill worked great. All the kitchen utensils, pots, pans and dishes you need. Owner was very responsive with any inquires.

wonderful camp

Stayed here for a week in July. The camp is just as it appears in the photos...really nice camp with plenty of room for our group of 4 adults and 2 small children plus a large dog. The view is beautiful, large yard leading down to the 50 ft beach! Nice sandy beach with shade trees at the beginning for little ones. The depth change in the water is very gradual...good for kids! Located very close to the village of Northville so convenient to shops and restaurants! Great vacation spot!
