This spacious four-bedroom home sleeps up to nine guests and features two living areas, expansive ocean views, multiple outdoor spaces and plenty of room for families or groups to unwind. Whether you're visiting for whale season, a summer beach holiday or a weekend escape with friends, Platform 39 provides the perfect base.



The Space:

Set across two spacious levels, Platform 39 has been thoughtfully designed to make the most of its spectacular beachfront position. Large windows and elevated living spaces capture panoramic ocean views stretching along the coastline, creating a beautiful backdrop throughout your stay.



The upper level is the heart of the home, featuring open-plan living, dining and kitchen areas that flow onto a generous balcony overlooking the ocean. It's the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee, watch the colourful yachts glide past, keep an eye out for passing whales during the migration season or simply relax as the sun sets over the coastline.



The home comfortably accommodates up to nine guests across four bedrooms. Three bedrooms feature queen beds, while the fourth bedroom offers a tri-bunk with a queen bed below and king single above, making it ideal for families with older children or young adults travelling together.



There are two large bathrooms, including a private ensuite to the master bedroom, along with an additional powder room for added convenience. A second living area downstairs provides plenty of space for larger groups to spread out, while the outdoor entertaining areas, courtyard and outdoor shower make returning from the beach easy and enjoyable.



Located just metres from the sand at Olivers Reef, guests can step straight onto the beach, follow the coastal walking and cycling trail into Port Elliot, or stroll along the foreshore to enjoy local cafés and coastal attractions. With secure parking, excellent storage and an unbeatable beachfront setting, Platform 39 offers everything needed for a memorable Fleurieu getaway.



The Neighborhood:

McCracken offers one of the most sought-after coastal locations on the Fleurieu Peninsula, combining a peaceful beachfront setting with easy access to Victor Harbor and Port Elliot.



Step outside and you'll find direct access to the coastal walking and cycling trail that connects McCracken, Victor Harbor and Port Elliot. Follow the path into Port Elliot for coffee, breakfast or a visit to the famous Port Elliot Bakery, or head towards Victor Harbor to explore Granite Island, browse local shops and enjoy the foreshore. The Cockle Train passes right out the front, adding to the charm of this unique seaside location.



The beach at Olivers Reef is just metres from your door, making it easy to enjoy morning swims, beach walks and whale watching during the winter months.



Other Things to Note:

Please note that this is a very strictly non smoking and vaping property both inside and outside. Non compliance with this will result in fines of $250.

No parties, no schoolies.

Must be 25 years of age to book.

Sorry, no young children under the age of 12.

One well behaved NON-shedding dog is allowed on holiday with you, but you must let us know beforehand. A $75 pet fee will be payable.

There is a chair lift on the stairs which may be used upon request for any guests unable to climb the stairs safely.

Our properties are fully self-contained and we supply starter provisions consisting of laundry powder, dish liquid, a dish cloth, bin liners, milk, coffee, tea, sugar, olive oil, salt and pepper, as well as bathroom amenities (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and soap). A spare roll of toilet paper is provided per toilet. Please note that these complimentary provisions are supplied to get you started for your holiday and are not replenished during your stay. We provide bathroom linen for the number of guests included in your booking only. Please bring your own beach towels. Bathroom linen is strictly not to be used for the beach.

Bedroom 4 will be locked and unavailable for use for bookings of 4 guests or less unless especially requested. There will be an additional cost.

A 25% deposit is required upon booking confirmation. The remaining balance is due 7 days before your stay. Cancellations made during the refundable period will receive a refund of all payments made, less a $30 cancellation fee.



A pre-check-in form must be completed before arrival, which includes submitting a valid ID, a selfie, and agreeing to our terms and conditions. Pricing reflects standard occupancy and associated household use. Accurate guest numbers must be confirmed prior to arrival to ensure the home is prepared and serviced accordingly.
