“Hi- several things were missing we had to go buy- toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags and hand soap in one of the bathrooms. Some of the pots and pans were also dirty. Guests should know that they can’t be outside with the fire on after 10pm. We finally got the kids to bed, sat down to relax and then couldn’t use the fire. The hot tub also was only available one day, the first night it was cold. We would not rent this properly again for these reasons. ”

“What an absolutely wonderful 4 day weekend. We stayed for my 60th birthday with large family. Plenty of room to spread out to avoid others if you wish, but also many large communal spaces to spend time together. We absolutely loved the deck space. Got in a lot of hiking. Thanks for the stay.”

“This is a wonderful property with great location and proximity to Shenandoah National Park. The house is clean and well stocked with everything you need. Owner was great to communicate with and the property is lively. The only complaint I have is that at the end of the stay you are asked to drive the garbage over 10mins away in the opposite direction you would be leaving and this is the last thing you want to do at the end of a vacation, but for us it didn’t take away from the 5 star rating. “The house overall was good. The upkeep could have been a lot better. There are a few boards on the floor that are coming up. There is a brick that is loose in the family room. In the hallway bathroom, the rack on the wall is broken(a screw is missing) It did feel like the house(inside and outside) was not professionally cleaned in awhile. We came across a few spider webs and spiders in a few corners of the house. We couldn't really enjoy the outside scenery because there were spider webs...

“This home did not disappoint. We thoroughly enjoyed having many outside activities at the home. Inside was set up perfectly for tons of family fun. This was our favorite house yet, and we have been coming once a year for 4 years. Highly recommend this home for large groups with kids. ”
