We had a wonderful stay at this house. It was extremely family-friendly and truly felt like a home away from home. The house itself was awesome—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with everything we needed for a great stay. Everything was perfect from start to finish, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We would absolutely love to come back again and would highly recommend this place to others.

Magnificent Mountain Moments

Perfect getaway

Great meeting place for my family. House was large and had plenty of space and games. Kitchen was fully stocked with equipment. Communication with management was fast to resolve issues. Close to many attractions.

Beautiful home in Beautiful location

Home was exactly as listed nothing short of amazing. One of the better homes I have rented. Family has enough space to spread out and of course the resort had plenty to do for yhe weekend to keep e eryone entertained.

Awesome Experience!

Mountain Memories was an awesome experience for us all! My family of four was joined by a friend's family of four - we had the perfect amount of space! This stay offered the best equipped kitchen I've ever rented, in some ways, better than my own home. Very thoughtfully outfitted and decorated with great attention to detail.

Great House for Large Group

This house was very comfortable for a large group. It was well equipped, in a great location, and the host very responsive. The home is much larger than it appears in the pictures online. Driveway is a little tricky but they are all like that in Massanutten. Would definitely stay here again!

Property is good and clean with lots utilities items in kitchen, we really liked. Only concern was Parking which was little sharp and steep but was okay.

Mountain Memories Stay

The house was beautiful and clean. The provided towels and linens were very nice. The kids in our group loved the theater like television viewing area downstairs. They were pleasantly surprised by the provided Wii system. We would definitely stay again.

The property is in top notch condition and the managers were a pleasure to work with. The property is well appointed and offers peace and quiet and seclusion.. While it is a lovely area to walk in, note that Massanutten is quite spread out and you will need to drive to everything.

Needs new pillows

My only complaint is the pillows weren't great, everything else about the house and location were wonderful. The driveway is very steep. It snowed 3 inches while we were there, the all wheel drive cars had no trouble but the front wheel drive SUV got stuck and we had to push it out.

Great House For Massanutten Holiday

House was exceptionally well cared for and was generously stocked with paper products and kitchen pots, dishes, utensils and devices. Nice grill too. Driveway is steep but easier if you back down. We were able to park 3 SUVs at the bottom. Could fit one or two more cars on slope of driveway or across the street on the side of the road. Would stay again.

Good experience

Some feedback for improvement: 1. driveway should be asphalt as its very risky to park car on such a huge slope without asphalt 2. Water pressure on showers too low 3. Jack n Jill bathroom does not have a lock from inside which makes it very inconvenient for families to share bathroom with no lock. Good things: 1. Very nice lighting in rooms, clean cutlery and plenty of it. Overall it was a very good stay.

Snowed in at Massanutten

The property was lovely - well stocked and maintained. We appreciated the opportunity to stay an extra night at half price and also that the driveway was eventually cleared of snow. It would be nice if the driveway would be paved. It would help from tracking in little black rocks. I also would like to see several soup ladles, serving spoons, and another plastic pitcher for tea, lemonade, and O.J. There was only one. Thanks so much. We really enjoyed our stay. Louise Gordon

Perfect for JMU graduation weekend!

The house had perfect sleeping accommodations for our family and the views were gorgeous. The only issue we had was with the driveway. It was challenging pulling in to the driveway and the loose gravel made it difficult to get out of the driveway. The grandparents weren’t able to pull in or out on their own which made it difficult for them to be able to explore the resort or local area on their own. There is a place to park a car on the road but the you do have to walk down the step gravel driveway. But the house was great.

JMU Graduation Weekend

Property was clean and well appointed. Tons of space and very comfortable. Everything was awesome except for the tricky driveway. I booked for three nights thinking I could cut off one of the nights when the graduation dates came out. I was unable to do that because it is a 3 night minimum that weekend which I was totally not aware of. No indication of this on the web site. So paid for three nights and only stayed for two.
