This house has a great setup for families traveling with older kids. The double living room allowed our kids their own space. Multiple bedrooms upstairs and down also allowed for families to get some privacy and space. The house was extremely clean upon arrival. My only recommendation would be in regards to stocking. As a family that eats mostly at home while traveling, some additional baking sheets, mixing bowls and tupperware would have been great but all of the essentials were there. The owners even had coffee ready to go- a must when waking early to hike all day. Close to Luray Caverns (40min) and and entrance to Shenandoah National Park, (24min) this was a great central location. Even though the private owner does not provide passes to the community center, we were still able to get access to all the amenities for just 15 per person. Our kids enjoyed a day of swimming, volleyball, ping pong and more. There are tons of trails, playgrounds, and activities right on property providing entertainment on “down days”. Checkout was easy and I loved not having to strip the beds. Highly recommend this stay!
