A great place for a family gathering. We enjoyed the decks, hot tub, game room, backyard hammock & the comfy beds. We made s’mores 3 times on the fire pit. Thought we were lacking towels in the kid area but discovered them under the sink in the bathroom. Plenty of dishes, glasses, an extra fridge in the game room & wine cooler in the lower level. Good communication with the host & advice about hiking, which we did. We arrived before the rest of the family & had dinner at Campfire Grill, which was very good.

Lovely family ski weekend

We had a lovely family gathering and ski stay at the VRBO property. The house was clean, comfortable, spacious, and well-appointed. The arcade room was a spectacular hit. We were grateful for owner's responsiveness to our questions and his continued support throughout our stay. We highly recommend this property, and we will return in future.

Family friendly & great location

The house was the perfect spot for multiple families to meet up & enjoy a long weekend together. Good outdoor spaces and plenty of activities to keep the kids entertained between rock climbing wall & games in the lower level. Communication from host was excellent. Would stay here again!

Wonderful mountain escape!!

Our group of 16 traveled to JMU for our daughter’s first family weekend, and we had a wonderful time at this mountain home! After enjoying the game and the great vibe in downtown Harrisonburg, we wanted to escape to the mountains for some fun and relaxation, and this home certainly delivered! With a fantastic game room in the garage, complete with a pool table, hoops, and a climbing wall, the kids were always entertained. The adults enjoyed the hot tub, fire table, and large dining room table for board games. The home was clean, well stocked, and the beds were very comfortable. And we really appreciated all the communication from the owner/host as well as courtesy extensions for check in and check out. We would definitely stay again and hope to make it a family weekend tradition!

Great property and attentive host

Host was attentive and checked in with us throughout our stay to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. House was well furnished and clean. Kids loved all the amenities offered in the house. Definitely will rent again if visiting the area.

Perfect description, perfect place

Mt. RelaxCATION was a perfect place - tons of stuff for the kids to do, and tons of places for the adults to hang out while the kids were busy. Communication with the property owner was great and any questions we had were answered immediately. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Wonderful Getaway

We had a wonderful time with family and friends at this property. This home was spotless and was equipped with all necessities. The kids had plenty of activities to keep them occupied (arcade games, fuseball table, basketball, ect..). Everyone also enjoyed the hotub. We also spent some time at the waterpark which was a short distance from this property. Overall, a great weekend getaway and we highly recommend this property and apprectiate the opportunity to spend time in this home :)

Happy misfits!

We’re a group of 15 that usually get together once a year and finally found a winter place to get together that accommodates all of us completely and boy did we love it here! The house was perfect! The renters were so helpful and easy to communicate. The house was clean and we loved the hot tub! We even got to watch a heard of deer up close all weekend long. We will absolutely be back!

Wonderful Weekend at Massanutten

Awesome house! Great layout for family ski trip. This is our fifth year doing a weekend ski trip to Massanutten in January or February, and this house was our favorite. So much to do and such a great location! We will be back!

Girls Weekend

My wife had her 43rd birthday here. She and seven other 40 something ladies enjoyed a great escape from their families. They enjoyed the hot tub and the large table upstairs to play cards. The snow that came down the day of arrival did not sway them at all. The house was great and they had plenty of room. All the ladies said they would go back.

Fun and cozy mountain house

4 families (7 adults and 8 kids) stayed for 4 nights and had a great time. The downstairs was great for the kids hangout and the arcade games added to the fun for them. They also really enjoyed the small room full of toys and games. Kids enjoying themselves downstairs made it so the adults could have some adult time upstairs. Communication with the owner was great and overall everyone had a great experience!

This house was perfect. All the bedrooms are very spacious. There were 6 adults and 6 kids. The kids really enjoyed the games. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots and pans etc..The owner was easy and quick too communicate with. Very accommodating. I would highly recommend this house. It is 5 minutes from all activities.

Easily accessible tons of great amenities and set up to accommodate our big family/friends weekend in a extremely comfortable way. Great times and Great Memories!

All 16 of us (4 families) were able to stay at the rental very comfortably. Kids loved the game room and game machines. We all also really enjoyed the hot tub, hammock, and fire pit. It was well stocked. Owners James and Amanda were very helpful and accommodating. We hope to return soon!

Overall, the property was lovely and it accommodated us perfectly. We were in close proximity to everything you could possibly think of as far as attractions. The amenities in the house were amazing and kept us busy thoughout the night. We were in constant communication with the owners and it helped make things run even smoother than it already was. Be prepared to see deer everywhere, it was beautiful. If we are in the area again, I will definitely see if this property is available. A++ property!
