“A warm welcome from Luc & Hilda, we were given a large, nicely decorated modern room with very comfy bed and the shower room & toilet were to the same high standard. Very nice breakfast served by Luc and his friendly team, it was autumn when we visited so it can be cool at night in South Africa, the bed’s electric blankets made them warm and cosy, the open log fire in the breakfast room was very nice in the morning and the log burner in the lounge was equally as inviting in the evening. “The property itself is so elegant and stylish with unimpeded views across to the mountains. The deck, pool and gardens are peaceful and full of beautiful sculptures. Our room, Room 4 was spacious, light and airy with a secluded private deck. A gorgeous place to stay within an easy walk to town with all its historic homes. But best of all were the delightful hosts, such warmth and so friendly and genuinely wanting to help in anyway and ensure you have the most comfortable stay. Great breakfast.”

“There was a mixup with the room we had booked, so were given another room which was just as nice, room 5. It was adjacent to the breakfast room however, so if you like to sleep in, maybe not the room for you. The room was beautifully decorated, clean, large and very comfortable. Very private until the breakfast time happens at 8 am. Breakfast was delicious. The only complaint was the hot water shower pressure was pretty weak. We brought that to the attention of the owner and she said they...
