The cottage is located on a paved all-season road. The driveway can accommodate up to 4 cars.

No access to the bunkie.

Our waterfront cottage is a perfect retreat for families seeking a peaceful and relaxing vacation in the beautiful Parry Sound region.

OUTDOORS

The outdoors is the best place to be at this cottage. The living room opens to the top deck and overlooks the lake, and has patio furniture perfect for your morning coffee and a BBQ for when you're ready to grill up something in the evening. The bottom patio area has a pair of covered porch swings offering shade and a nearby hammock where you could curl up and read a great book. If you make your way down towards the water, you'll find a fire pit that is great to hang out around later in the evening, and an additional deck space with patio seating that makes for an ideal spot to enjoy lunch. There is a second fire pit at the front of the cottage. The highlight of this cottage is at the shore, where you can find a big dock with chairs for lounging and incredible swimming - go ahead and jump in!

LIVING SPACE

When you’re not enjoying everything the outdoors has to offer, you can kick back in the living room, furnished with comfortable seating, a large Smart TV, and an array of board games for your enjoyment. There’s a bonus card table in the basement for all the card game lovers!

KITCHEN & DINING

Our kitchen is fully equipped with all essential appliances and cookware in addition to a high chair and children's dishes. The dining table seats 6, so gather the family around and create sweet memories during meal times this summer.

SLEEPING

3 bedrooms in the cottage. All the beds have comfortable clean linens and pillows so you can get a good night's sleep before a day in the sun.

Bedroom 2 - 1x queen bed (upstairs)
Bedroom 3 - 1x Double bunk bed and 1 x Single bunk bed (4 beds in total in the basement bedroom)

Note: In the winter the basement is not used** as it can get quite cold due to the flooring.

BATHROOMS
1 spotless bathroom.

This cottage is a familiar place to stay and have a vacation where you can truly be comfortable. It is a place to bring your loved ones together and make the most of the hot summer days. We hope you’ll make amazing memories with your family here.

Pet Policy: We welcome pets in our home

Water Safety: Stay safe around water features on the property. Children should be supervised at all times.

Wi-Fi: High-speed Wi-Fi is available, but please be aware that due to the remote location, the connection may be intermittent at times.

Drinking Water: The cottage has a filtration system that is regularly tested, so the water is safe to drink. If you don't like that, please bring your own water jugs!

Firewood: Guests are to bring their own firewood for use.

There are strict bylaws in McKellar. Please be mindful of your noise and be respectful to our wonderful neighbors! We have a very strict NO PARTIES, or loud noises. This cottage is intended for families and it's located in a quiet area of the lake.

Important Note – Parking & Property Access:
We kindly ask all guests to stay on the designated gravel driveway when arriving and parking. The surrounding lawn area is currently muddy and also covers a recently installed septic system underneath.

Driving or parking on the lawn may cause damage and could lead to getting stuck, especially during wet conditions. For your safety and the protection of the property, please avoid driving over any non-gravel areas.
