“We booked this stay for the last night of our anniversary trip! The accommodation is located within the old town, thus no cars are allowed to enter. However the hotel staff had already contacted me far in advance to arrange luggage pick up so arriving to the hotel was very easy! They also arranged a quieter room for us and surprised us with a cake too! We loved the stay, very different to your usual city hotels but regardless it had all the amenities we needed. “This place was so cute! A little inn tucked away at the eve of the Lijiang Ancient town. So well maintained by a family I think, and the complementary breakfast was so quaint and prepared by the managers mother I think. To get here you have to climb some steep olden times stairs, so if you do need help the staff are incredibly helpful here. The external doors are locked late but worth asking when as we had a wedding and had to wake the manager to let us in - we felt very sheepish after that!”

“This hotel in my mind is average. Cleaness is average but definetly not as in the photos (the photos were possibly took when the rooms are new renovation). Fresh air? Don't expect fresh air, as many hotel guests or people nearby are smoking. Since this hotel is not entirely smoke-free, you'll have to settle for air tinged with the smell of cigarettes.
