“Despite an email exchange with the host prior to our stay, we walked in to find another family was clearly staying/living in the unit. We could not reach the ‘host’ by phone. VRBO was helpful, but insisted we photograph to prove the situation. In downtown Richmond. We could have been shot or had the police called. Our trip was ruined and our kids are freaked out. “Great little home - I would book it again if I’m in the area in the future. Quiet neighborhood, everyone we passed seemed very friendly. Easy to get to and close to the hospital, local parks, groceries, etc. Host was excellent and very responsive.Pet friendly- Good size fenced in yard for my dog to explore during the day.
