Estacione el automóvil la duración de su estadía y siéntase como en casa en la pintoresca y pequeña ciudad de Ashland. La decoración espaciosa y artística es perfecta para recreación o estadías ejecutivas. Nuestra pequeña casa de vecindario en los pisos del Distrito Histórico del Ferrocarril, alrededor de 1890, no podría estar más cerca de los lugares de venta de joyas locales de Ashland, incluidos OSF, Lithia Park, Ashland Food Co-op, restaurantes y tiendas, todo a una corta distancia a pie. Completamente privado, limpio y conveniente.

El espacio

Nuestra casa está llena de color y luz. Construido en 1890, se ha dicho que era un burdel / lavandería en días pasados. Totalmente privado y totalmente amueblado con porche cubierto, ducha doble, cortinas de ventanas de doble celulosa, jardín, cocina totalmente equipada, wifi, cable e internet. Recientemente se ofrece una nueva lavadora / secadora apilable junto al refrigerador.
Para una buena noche de sueño, tenemos arreglos cómodos ya sea con la cama King en el espacio del loft o con el sofá cama Queen extraíble personalizado en la sala de estar que es tan acogedor como su propia cama con un colchón Spring Air de 10 "(la bomba está colgada una canasta debajo de la ventana detrás del sofá).
El baño es de fácil acceso en la planta principal.
El propietario / artistas viven en la premisa entre sus 2 estudios. J. Las piezas de iluminación artística de Garloff Design se presentan tanto en el hogar como en los jardines.
Este es un contrato de alquiler para no inquilinos.

Acceso de invitado

La casa es tuya. Hay una puerta cerrada en la parte trasera de la cocina que conduce a los propietarios a vivir y a estudios de arte.

Very nice rental. The house was very colorful and well-built, located a block from the Food Coop and a few blocks from downtown and the theatre district. Very quiet. The hosts were nearby but respected our privacy. The bedroom was upstairs, not an issue for us but might be if someone has trouble with stairs. We hope to stay there again!

I was trying to think of a word to describe this one of a kind house and whimsical came to mind. It is beautifully decorated throughout with warm colors, artwork, and special touches everywhere. Handmade pottery and cups, colorful tile bathroom, roomy porch to hang out. There is a bedroom loft upstairs and a very comfortable hide-a-bed in the living room. It is hard to describe fully how much fun it was to stay there.

We stayed a full week and saw seven plays. The location is wonderful! Just a few short blocks to the shopping, a quick walk through the alley to the co-op, and easy street parking. The interior and exterior are beautifully decorated and well kept. Be aware that the sleeping is upstairs, and bring a sleep mask if you’re sensitive to light as there’s a skylight over the stairwell that can’t be closed up. The kitchen is small but perfectly equipped, with a nice gas stove and a small but adequate fridge. We hope you’ll enjoy your stay as much as we did! We’ll definitely stay here again if it’s available next year!

The location is unbeatable and this was a perfect place for our family of 4. The kitchen had everything we needed, thank goodness for air conditioning, and the owners were responsive when we had questions. Would happily stay there again.

From the moment we arrived, we felt welcome and delighted in this amazing, colorful house. The hosts were outside in the yard to greet us, and answered any questions. We enjoyed how artistically every inch of the house was decorated, and the location was perfect for walking downtown. Info and photos are accurate, but it was better than expected!

John and Mori have created a home that rather belongs in Oz or the other side of the looking glass. Every corner of the property has been considered with the hosts creative eyes and gifted skills. It is as fun to stay in as it looks in the photos. We loved it so much we hope one day soon to call John and Mori neighbors.

So large with fascinating colors and textures. The owners are artists and the home reflects that. The huge bed room is upstairs with the bath downstairs. The stairs are wide and gentle and well lit with nite lites. If there is a draw back it would be the shared common wall downstairs with the main house. Great stay ,great location, groceries one block, gym 2 blocks , downtown 3 blocks and great hosts!

This property was perfect for our month-long stay. We had everything we needed, especially a washer and dryer. The railroad district is close to everything. We were able to walk to restaurants, the Food Co-op and other businesses as well as Lithia Park.

I just reviewed this house in December of 2020, and enjoyed it so much that I decided to return here two months later. Not only is the place centrally located, but it is well-maintained by its owners, who are respond right away to any questions or issues. The house is also quite lovely inside--carefully decorated. The space is great for one person or a couple, but it does have a sofa bed downstairs as well. My only caveats are that the bathroom is downstairs while the bedroom (spacious) loft is upstairs--although on very well-built stairs which created no problem for my 64-year-old self; and the light does come strongly through in the bedroom on nice days, so probably not ideal for those who sleep in. But I have returned, and will probably return again.

The appeal of this house is both its central location and the obvious care and love that the owners have put into it. It was lovely to stay in a place with such beautiful tiling and detail work. And, despite its many intriguing tchtochkes, the place is very clean and dust-free. Also great is the fact that everything totally reflects the description on VRBO. We were pleased, as well, by the quick response of the owners to any questions as well as by the many high-quality amenities that the place offers, particularly cookware. Light sleepers might keep in mind that one of the bedroom loft windows has no shade; those who are planning to spend many daytime hours at the place (as we did, since it was wintertime and COVID-time) should note that one can quite easily hear phone conversations in the owner's side of the house. Those who, like me, are over 60, might keep in mind that the bedside lighting in the loft is somewhat dim--although the lamps themselves are gorgeous. Overall, though, this is a delightful place for two people--a place to which we hope to return.
