The building is Tudor-style and the conversion was done with enough care that the things worth keeping are still there: original hardwood timber floors, high ceilings, and period detailing in the entrance hall. The apartment is on the ground floor with no stairs throughout. Two bedrooms - a queen in the main room and a double in the second - both with timber floors and good natural light. Armstrong Street, five minutes on foot, is the local village in the best sense. Coffee, dinner, a bottle of wine from the bottle shop, everything within a short walk of each other on a street that has been serving Middle Park for decades. South Melbourne Market is a short walk or tram ride away for a proper Saturday morning.



The Formula 1 Grand Prix circuit at Albert Park is five minutes by car. Guests book specifically for the race weekend and walk to the track. Lakeside Stadium and MSAC are within walking distance for swimming and athletics events.



The tram at the end of Harold Street runs to the Melbourne CBD in approximately 15 minutes and to St Kilda in 10. Middle Park is well-suited to walking and cycling for most of what the local area has to offer. A car is useful for day trips and the free street parking makes returning uncomplicated.
