Escape to Olinda Beech 1, a peaceful woodland hideaway nestled among 3.25 acres of established gardens in the heart of the Dandenong Ranges. Surrounded by magnificent azaleas, birch trees, oak trees and native forest, this beautifully appointed suite offers a wonderful sense of seclusion while remaining only minutes from the charming villages of Olinda and Sassafras.

THE SPACE
Step through the garden gate into a warm, character-filled retreat where soaring timber ceilings, exposed brick, and natural stone create the perfect country atmosphere. Beautiful garden views flow into the suite, while the cosy wood fire invites you to slow down and relax after a day exploring the surrounding villages, gardens and walking trails.

The comfortable queen-size bed is prepared with fresh linen, pillows and blankets, creating a welcoming place to rest beneath the impressive raked timber ceiling. The private ensuite is a highlight of the suite, featuring a luxurious double spa bath where you can soak, unwind and enjoy a truly relaxing escape.

The living space includes a Smart TV, a generous dining table for six, and a beautiful character fireplace. The private kitchenette provides everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a fridge, portable cooktop, microwave, toaster, kettle, crockery, cutlery, and glassware. A Nespresso coffee machine is also provided; you can bring your favourite capsules. An iron and ironing board are available, and full linen and towels are included.

Step outside onto your private deck, where outdoor seating and peaceful garden views create a lovely setting for your morning coffee, an afternoon drink or a quiet evening surrounded by the trees. The natural beauty and calming sounds of the forest make it easy to switch off from everyday life.

Guests are welcome to explore the shared grounds and wander along the approximately 250-metre walking track that winds through the property. A tranquil creek runs through the surrounding forest just a short stroll from the house, adding to the feeling of being completely immersed in nature. The gardens are lovingly maintained and continually evolving. In keeping with the lush woodland setting, some areas may be a little wild or rustic, which is all part of the natural charm of the property.

Olinda Beech 1 is approximately a 55-minute drive from Melbourne's CBD and only a two-minute drive from Olinda and Sassafras. From here, you can easily discover local cafés, restaurants, boutique shops, beautiful gardens, forest lookouts, national parks and some of the Dandenong Ranges' most popular walking trails.

A potbelly wood fire is provided for guests to enjoy during their stay. Firewood and kindling are not supplied, so please bring your own if you would like to use the fireplace. You can also buy firewood at nearby supermarkets and petrol stations.

Fresh linen and towels are provided, along with a starter supply of essentials such as shampoo, body wash and toilet paper. For longer reservations, these supplies may not last for the entire stay, so guests may need to purchase additional items as required.

The suite forms part of a larger property with several separate guest suites. Each suite has its own private entrance, kitchenette, bathroom and outdoor area, allowing you to enjoy your own space while sharing access to the broader garden setting.

The property is surrounded by established natural gardens and native forest. As the gardens are personally maintained, they are continually evolving and may be a little rustic in places. We love caring for the grounds, but the lush environment of the Dandenong Ranges means there is always something growing!

Children are welcome. However, please be aware that the property is surrounded by forest and natural terrain, so children should be supervised while exploring the gardens and outdoor areas.

GETTING AROUND
Parking is available for your stay. Enter through the main gate; there you will see 3 driveways. Turn left towards the dirt path. Please drive slowly and carefully through this section. You can park directly in front of the Beech Suite sign next to the outdoor table bench.

ADDITIONAL RULES
Strictly no schoolies, parties or events. Mature guests only. The property is patrolled by security. If neighbours complain or the police are called, this could affect your bond, and we reserve the right to evict guests.
