    DETAILED DESCRIPTION

    This is an architecturally designed semi-detached home located in a quiet suburban area, only 6 km from the CBD.

    Perfect for 5 or more guests, the dominant features of the house are its high angular ceilings which provide sculptural interest. Its tall full height doors and windows, skylights and highlight windows make the house light and airy.



    The house is well insulated within external internal walls and ceilings insulated to ensure that it remains cool in summer and retains heat in winter. The house is designed to have a high-energy rating, and excellent cross-through ventilation. It also has central heating and multiple ceiling fans.



    The single level house is ideal for guests who have mobility issues or just hate stairs. Access from the car space to the house is only one small step at the front door.

    The floor of the house is polished concrete throughout a terrazzo look, making it easy to maintain a dust free environment. This is perfect for guests with allergies.



    The fully-equipped kitchen has marble bench-tops, 900mm wide 6 burner gas cooktop and electric oven, top of the range appliances, integrated large French door style fridge/freezer, DeLonghi coffee machine, double toaster suitable for crumpets, dishwasher, microwave, separate pantry and double sink.



    There are 4 bedrooms; three have access to a secure external area via a fully glazed sliding door. The 4th bedroom has access to the front garden. All bedrooms have mirrors, ceiling fans and block out blinds. Each bedroom has a small safe, and keys can be issued upon request.



    The master bedroom has a queen-size bed, and pillows of different densities. The bunk style bedrooms have purpose built sturdy bunks with study desks. The smaller rooms have ergonomic office chairs and study lamps as well as large floor cushions. These rooms can be modified to have the mattress at ground level if preferred. These rooms are very popular with children and young adults.



    The bookcase is well populated with games, puzzles, adult childrens books, cookbooks, craft materials Lego.

    For guests who ride bikes, there is a secured side area that can accommodate 6-8 bikes.



    This home has every consideration made for both style and comfort. The property has a generous amount of power points and ceiling lights.

    The dcor and artworks throughout the home are mainly of oriental origin.

    Getting There

    The easiest way to get to this property from Tullamarine Airport is a 30-minute trip by taxi or Uber, but you can also use public transport if you wish. Full directions instructions on how to access your property will be provided once your booking is confirmed with StayCentral.


    Getting Around

    Traveling to the city is easy, the house is located between two train stations Fairfield Station Alphington Station. Both stations are a 15 minute walk. There is also a bus to the city on Grange Road at the end of the street. It's less than 20 minute drive to the CBD by car or taxi or 45 minutes by public transpor

    We send you instructions on how to collect your keys on site once your booking is confirmed, and your security deposit is processed; a week before arrival. Our office is remote from the apartment, so we communicate by phone or email. We are available by phone and email for extended office hours every day.




    Check in

    On check in, the owner of the credit card must be present, and will be asked to:

    * provide the credit card used for the booking (and the security bond if different). Airbnb excepted.

    * provide the matching photo ID

    * sign a registration form confirming the receipt of remotes, keys and parking permits and your acceptance of StayCentral Terms Conditions; including the authorisation for StayCentral to use the security deposit held by us as payment for any expenses as described in the above Terms.

    PET STAYS:

    Many of our properties, including this one, are pet-friendly, but only with approval, and as long as they are quiet, and do not damage or climb on the furnishings! The minimum pet stay fee is $150 and daily fees vary from $20 down to $5 for longer stays.




    SECURITY BOND

    We require a minimum security bond of $1,000, which increases for long stays and last-minute bookings. The bond will be charged to your credit card used for the booking, or by EFT, and released after your departure (subject to a damage and excess cleaning check). The bond will be debited for any damage, missing items, excessive cleaning or food or rubbish removal. Any credit cards used must be verified by our SecureID security verification process. Cards that cannot be verified will not be accepted. Please enquire with us for more details before making a booking.

Convenient location

Hostess was lovely and location suited our needs.Felt the property was a little run down. Would like to see better linen, no chipped glasses & plates and a TV that worked.

Fairfield interlude

We loved this house although we didn’t expect to spend the whole week indoors looking after my sick daughter! The owner was super-helpful and kind which made things much easier for us. Pet friendly, too.

Pretty average

Booked via VRBO, although had to deal with a property manager instead and hosts also, very odd handling, then host wants to let you in and go through things, again not a fan of that. PM's tried to charge extra. So the place needs some attention, most things in house are old and well used, at minimum some new towels and bedding, bathroom screen feels like its going to fall off, nowhere to put any toiletries, not even a shelf, back yard isn't really that, its just construction fencing around a table in front of the back door, so a bit rough looking, has concrete floors throughout whole house so in winter isn't great, as host knew the arrival time, would be good to turn heaters beforehand with 0 degree nights, internet doesn't work most of the time, therefore television not working, main bedroom is open technically so not great for privacy, only has a double bed, not ideal if your tall, no milk for a coffee, overall i think the host and property managers need to look at what places normally provide and the efforts hosts go to for that extra touch and scores overall. Was ok if you need somewhere to stay in a good location, but pretty average on quality and content. Place needs an update and renovation, followed by some effort spending a few $'s on stuff to replace most of the core items.
