Great location but …
We enjoyed our stay overall mainly due to the location of the property and general layout of the home but we did find that there were some problems which has affected our overall rating.
We wouldn’t expect these issues especially when paying top dollar.
The issues were:
1. We found that there was a mismatch between the photos and description from the listing and reality.
A) The photos were very vibrant and bright but in reality the main area was dark during the day even when we opened up all windows.
B) The Greek beach style theme wasn’t really reflected either throughout the home. We envisaged something similar to the Greek restaurant in McCrae which has fresh and vibrant colours.
C) The listing states three bathrooms but there were only two.
2. We had things that weren’t working as you’d expect, eg. Roller door for ensuite kept on jamming (needed to fix multiple times to function), toaster - half , non functioning multiple ready hang blinds, kitchen drawers
3. The bathrooms were unsafe due to the concrete floors when water sitting on top. In particular unsafe for kids seniors and physically challenged people. Not sure how council approved?
