"The cabin is wonderful. Very cute and decorted to make it sooo cozy. Loved the hot tub and the rocking chairs on the porch. Did get to see a barge on the river. Only complaint is the yard needs weedeated. Cant really mow it so weedeat it and cut some low limbs and it would be perfect."

"Had a great stay while in town for a wedding. The listing is exactly what the great cottage is. Had all the amenities we needed for a busy weekend-coffee, a few waters, supplied kitchen, great beds and towels and comfy robes for every room! Plenty of public space to hang out as a group and three private bedrooms made sleeping in easy for those who wanted to. My wife loved the decor and special touches. AC unit was huge and kept the entire house comfortable on a 90+ humid summer weekend. Location...

"Me and my wife were looking for a nice weekend getaway. And found Gwen and Bear’s Cabin listed. The Cabin is right down the mountain from Petit Jean State Park. Which was exactly what we were looking for! The privacy of the cabin and the woods and small stream next to the cabin were also great! All around was an awesome experience and we will definitely be booking again!"

"The time we spent at this house was short and sweet. During our time we enjoyed the quietness of the neighborhood, spaciousness of the home to accommodate my family and the easy access to the home through the lock pad and the garage was a bonus. The house temperature was pleasantly cool and the bedding was just enough comfort for the time we needed to sleepover. The showers were perfect and everything was as listed! I am so glad we made the stop and stayed here. Thanks for making things so easy!"

However, the cottage has a musty smell and the burners on the stove were warped to the point that we had trouble cooking our food. We also had some issues with the AC unit in the bedroom."

"We had a great stay at the lake house. We visited Petit Jean state park while staying there. It was an easy 30 minute drive. The zip line was fun for all of us. The sunset views from the living room and deck were beautiful. The house is very well stocked. The beds were comfy and the dock at the lake is very nice. My son enjoyed fishing so much that we never had time to go kayaking! We would definitely stay here again."

"The things I have poorly to say about the property, and this is just my opinion, is I was not able to check in early, they didn’t offer continental breakfast, and I didn’t receive a bottom floor as requested. On that note, I arrived between 12:30-1pm but absolutely under no circumstances could or was allowed to check in until after 3pm. Next, the only breakfasts ,per se, was coffee.
