“My family was in town for my grandson's baptism. The house was perfect for us! We stayed in the house most of the time. Cooked all of our meals in the awesome kitchen, played games and swam in the pool multiple times. The pool was nice and warm :) This house far exceeded my expectations! It was much bigger than I thought it was going to be and very well stocked. Looking forward to staying at this house again in the future!!!!”

“We stayed here with another couple. We were in town to visit more friends. This house had everything we needed, is very close to some of our favorite places - Jake’s and the Pioneer - and a short drive to our friend’s house. We would for sure stay again on one of our weekend visits.”

“This property worked wonderful for our gathering, great kitchen, lower level game room and overall main floor layout. Jessica was very responsive to the few questions we had. I would highly recommend this operty for a largeer gathering. One suggestion is to check the wall outlets, it seemed as if only the bottom ones worked.”

“We really enjoyed our stay here! We went out on the canoe in the morning and it was so quiet and peaceful out there. The lake did get busier later in the afternoon with jet skiers and water skiers, people fishing etc. The ducks and chickens on the property were a nice surprise:) My son loved that. “This is a beautiful older home in a quiet well kept neighborhood that backs up to a lovely park. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you would need to “eat-in”. There is a wonderful attached, private back porch area that is screened in. A definite plus! My only wish would have been that fans would have been provided in the bedroom areas as it did become stuffy sleeping upstairs at night. Overall, a wonderful experience!”

“We spent nearly a week in West Central Wisconsin and had a great time. We ranged in age from 6 months to 73 years old, 3 generations. The River House gave us plenty of room for everyone, the home was very clean and well-appointed. The kayaks were fun, and we visited Crystal Cave, the Children’s Museum and Chippewa Falls. We visited from OK, KS and MO. Definitely will look for this home again, since we visit nearly every June for a family reunion.”

Walking distance to bars and restaurants was perfect for nights out. We had a great weekend celebrating friendship and life in a truly unique space.”

“The house, despite its 1900 origin, is like new. Located only a block from UWEC, it was surprisingly quiet. Access to downtown or the mall is very easy. Well equipped kitchen and plenty of storage. Our only complaint was the heating. It worked, but was pretty noisy and had a hard time maintaining a consistent temperature. Still, we were very pleased with the rental and would recommend it for a family.”
