A hidden gem

This was such a worthwhile stay. We chose to stop on our way to and from Florida, and we all agree that we would love to come back sometime and spend more time here! Absolutely adorable cabin, peaceful setting with breathtaking views, and plenty to do. If you are on the fence, trust me, this place is worth it.

Amazing Mentone Gem!

My wife and I had the distinct pleasure of staying at the most relaxing and tranquil tiny home recently, in Mentone, AL. We thoroughly enjoyed everything about our stay. The home was very clean and comfortable. Seth & Emily, our hosts, were wonderful to work with, from start to finish. The hot tub was amazing and the facilities were perfect! We even got to load up on some of the best fresh blueberries I’ve ever had. I highly recommend this intimate and quiet property.

Great Fall Getaway

We enjoyed staying in this beautiful tiny home near the charming town Mentone during the fall. Perfect for our family of 4. You could tell a lot of love went into this property. Would definitely recommend to others.

The tiny home and the area is beautiful. When we had questions, the owner was very nice and helpful. The tiny home was just too small for four adult sized people!

Relaxing weekend!

In such a peaceful area to relax and enjoy a fire with friends! The treehouse came with everything we needed and we enjoyed our stay very much!

Wonderful stay!

We enjoyed our stay so much! House was exactly like the listing. They’ve thought of everything you need. The grounds were fun to explore. It was a perfect place to stay for a few nights while exploring Mentone.

Perfect getaway

It was awesome! It was very cozy and most definitely a good spot for family and friends! Cabin was clean and neat and beautifully set up! I will most definitely rebook! Owners were nice and very well detailed about check in and check out! Highly recommend anyone to stay!

Fabulous stay, owners wonderful, area beautiful

This tiny house is adorable and we loved everything about it - the attention to detail was amazing. It's located down a country road and the remoteness from town made it ideal for enjoying some forest bathing and peace and quiet. Would go back in a heartbeat.

Cute tiny home

We really enjoyed our stay, very comfortable and spacious for being a tiny home. There is a second home close by but the way they are situated gives you plenty of privacy. It was nice being able to open the doors and listen to the stream/waterfall in the background. Cell service was spotty but not terrible, overall it was a peaceful stay and would highly recommend.

Awesome rental

The Crooked Tree Cabin was such a unique rental. The tiny home was beautifully decorated, and was neatly tucked in a quiet setting with two other rentals. There are so many parks in the area. We enjoyed Desoto Falls and stopped in Mentone for lunch. Cute little town to walk around in. Thanks Emmye and Seth for sharing your little bit of heaven.

Stunning!

This tiny home is perfect for get togethers with friends or a couples getaway. It is thoughtfully and beautifully decorated: everywhere you look, there is something new to see. The kitchen had everything we needed. It was too cold outside to enjoy the picnic table or screened porch area. The chairs and sofa were comfortable and the fireplace added the perfect ambiance to create a cozy sitting area. The hosts were incredibly responsive - within 3 minutes of sending messages, I had responses. The primary bed was comfortable and there was ample storage for a weekend. We did not go into the loft area but it looked perfect for kids! This is the perfect place to enjoy some quiet time. You’ll have everything you need and more. There is a stream outside and the chandeliers in the trees and outside lighting just added to the coziness. This is one of the best places I’ve stayed for a weekend getaway!

A Perfect Retreat at Crooked Tree Cabin!

From the moment we arrived at Crooked Tree Cabin in the beautiful town of Mentone, Alabama, we knew we had found something truly special. This isn't just a cabin; it's a meticulously crafted sanctuary that offers the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. The cabin itself is perfect– immaculately clean, thoughtfully decorated, and incredibly cozy. Every detail, from the comfortable furnishings to the well-equipped kitchen, spoke of a host who genuinely cares about their guests' experience. We particularly loved relaxing on the spacious porch, sipping coffee in the mornings, enjoying the serene sounds of nature in the evenings, and relaxing in the hot tub with a glass of wine. The blueberry farm and quiet night provided a constant reminder of the peaceful escape we had found. The solar chandeliers in the trees created a perfectly magical surrounding at night so don't forget to look up! The craft building down by Blueberry Falls was a perfect escape when my 11-year-old daughter was yearning for something to do. We watched movies, made bracelets, colored, played foosball, and played Ms. Pac-Man on an actual arcade machine. The location is ideal for exploring Mentone and the surrounding natural beauty. We enjoyed hiking nearby trails and exploring the charming local shops. It truly felt like a home away from home, but with an added touch of magic that only a place like Crooked Tree can provide. The peace and quiet were exactly what we needed to recharge. We left feeling refreshed and rejuvenated, already planning our next visit. If you're looking for an unforgettable getaway in Mentone, look no further than Crooked Tree Cabin. It's a five-star experience through and through, and we highly recommend it!

Excellent communication with the host. We loved everything about the cabin. Very well furnished and so comfy. The hot tub on the screened porch was so nice and private. Fun little game room with foosball table and pacman. Nice little creek around the property and so relaxing while sitting around a fire at the outdoor firepit. We definitely recommend this cabin.

This place was so wonderful. We went the last week of January 2026. Super cold & windy outside, but this place was cozy and quiet! Hot tub made it even better! We stayed for 5 nights but it went by so fast. We plan to come back in the fall time to enjoy the blueberry bushes and all the greenery out. There’s also a bunch of cute shops & restaurants in the area we loved!

Super fun tiny house

Our stay at the The Crooked Tree Cabin was great. Perfect little cozy get away for our family of four. We loved cooking hot dogs and s'mores over the fire pit.
