My wife and I had a wonderful time at this tiny home. It was clean, cozy, and quiet. Communication with the host was great. It was perfect for a mom and dad getaway, even though we were just 20 minutes from home. We'll definitely be back.

"WE GOT COWS"
Birthday weekend for my sister. Wonderful cabin. The pool was relaxing and a perfect twist to something different. We were able to tour the town of Mentone, see the farmers market, and have lunch at Moon Lake Kitchen. (The food was exquisite.) Our cabin was smartly decorated with a cute country look and several cow items to bring it all together. The hosts were very knowledgeable and completely professional, maintaining our privacy throughout our stay. Highly recommend for a quick getaway at a fabulous price.

I cannot say enough about our stay at The Happy Cow Cottage and it’s owners. It was incredibly peaceful which is exactly what was needed. We only left the cottage to go pick up a pizza and the Mentone Market. The sunrise and sunset views were breathtaking and the cottage was adorable and had everything and more that we needed. Will definitely be back.

Paradise
We spent a lot of time outside. The cowboy pool, porch/deck area and view was worth every penny. The queen bed was very comfortable and loved having mini split unit in the bedroom so it could be controlled seperate than unit in big area. My 2 pups also loved the outside area. They never saw a cow, so it was a treat for them. The house was in a private area, felt very secluded. I highly recommend it!

The property was cute and cozy. There were issues with some of the appliances and equipment. Empty gas tank for the stove and empty gas tank for the firepit. I advised the owner and was told I could try switching the tank from the grill to the firepit. So the first night which was the 4th of July our plans of baking and relaxing by the firepit did not happen. The next morning the owner said they would have the items checked serviced. No one showed up all day. I reached back to them asking when they would be bringing the gas so I could plan on when we could have dinner. They did come within a few minutes then but tjis was the 2nd day after 5pm. They brought a small tank so we could use the oven. They did not check the firepit at all. I changed the tank from the grill so we could enjoy tje firepit. It was a let down of service and correcting things in a timely manner

Beautiful, relaxing setting with great cottage.
The hot tub and views were amazing. Very tranquil. Pet friendly. Be sure if to bring a line or leash for your pets if they are prone to wander.

Beautiful Weekend
What a PERFECT place to spend my husbands 51st birthday! This cozy cottage may be “little” by physical measures but it holds big memories for us. Not only was the cottage absolutely spectacular, but the views from the porch as the sun came up and went down each day were simply breathtaking. The hosts were super helpful and quick to respond to our questions. Mentone is a magical little town, we met the friendliest people here and even made a new furry friend that we named “Roy”…the local farm dog who shared a couple breakfasts with us. We can’t wait to come back and stay at The Happy Cow Cottage again.

Great weekend getaway

Happy Cow Cottage
The property was adorable but we did experience some challenges. The primary main floor bedroom had drawers/storage area that smelled like cat pee. There is a moisture problem. We saw black mold around the baseboards near the washing machine in the main bedroom, which may be the culprit on the odors. The shower also has not been property cleaned; orange mold was growing in the shower. Lastly the cooling units were unable to properly cool the cottage. We did communicate these items to the owner with pictures. We tried our best to return the unit better than we found it.

Best possible experience
First things first. In my 33 years on this earth I have never met property managers that go above and beyond like Seth did. Long story short we showed up late and had zero water because of the freeze. Seth was able to find us another property within 24 hours that was liveable for us and the kids. Also they refunded our first night for the trouble and even offered a cancelation for the problems. However, they slam dunked this deal. They set us up at another property and we were able to enjoy our Christmas in the mountains. The tiny homes are spotless, very clean and very inviting. We stayed in two of their properties so we're speaking for the property named Delilah as well.
The happy cow cottage was very nice with antique fixtures and plenty of space for a tiny home. Check in was easy and you really felt at peace with the surroundings. It was awesome waking up and seeing the cow fields right out of the window. My kids thoroughly enjoyed the scenery and the set up at both locations.
Delilah was very nice as well. Even had a dish washer which we appreciated. Everything felt new and it was so clean we felt like we were the first tenants knowing good and well we were not.
Speaking on the property managers they gave us a list of things to do in the area to include locations and times, and even helped me find a grocery store on Christmas eve so I could stock pile for Christmas day. All in all I will 100% be reaching out to book with them in the future. I have never had such a great experience on VRBO before. We throurougly enjoyed staying in their tiny home.

Cutest cottage on the mountain
This cottage was so cute… everything about this place made me smile. Loved sitting on the porch watching the cows come home. It was private very peaceful and quiet. I absolutely loved my stay there.
