    Make your escape to this peaceful, lake-view cabin! This rustic retreat is situated on Grand Portage Lake and just a short distance from Claire D' Loon, supermarkets, and convenience stores. Other fantastic attractions include B & B Adventures Of Mercer, Winman Trails, North Lakeland Discovery Center, Schomberg County Park, Blackjack Mountain - Big Snow Resort, and Indianhead Mountain - Big Snow Resort. This cozy cabin is ideal for friends or families looking for a shared getaway. A mix of indoor and outdoor features, including a deck and game room, offer year-round home entertainment. Blue-sky summer days can be spent enjoying the outdoors, while a gas fireplace provides a toasty centerpiece for wintertime gatherings. A pinball table, two arcade-style games, and a smart TV offer family-friendly fun in the downstairs game room. A fully appointed kitchen has all the major appliances needed to prepare exquisite homemade meals and treats. Please note that this property does not have A/C. Enjoy shared community access to two dock spaces, two firepits on the resort grounds, two row boats, two paddle boats, and a canoe. Things to Know This property is managed by Vacasa Wisconsin LLC.

It was a great place to have a dog and such a beautiful cabin. One of the windows in a bedroom didn’t have blinds on it. Otherwise everything was great.

The house was clean and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything you would ever need. We were there to ride the bike trails and we could ride from the cabin to the trails. We would rent this cabin again.

Beautiful, clean, peaceful

The home was beautiful, as well as the surrounding areas. Tons of deer in the morning to watch, and the neighbors are all delightful. Loved having fires at night next to the lake as well.

Fall Trip to the Northwoods

We traveled mid week to Mercer to do some ATV trail riding and fall color tour. The host was easy to contact and answered our questions in a timely manner. Accommodations were great for our party of six. Well stocked, clean and comfortable. Would stay here again.

Good location, clean and warm house. Had a mostly stocked kitchen which was great, though missing a pizza cutter and any kind of soap for dishes. Parking can be difficult if you have a large trailer as there was a lot of snow in the parking area and we were unsure if we were going to be blocking anyone in. I had asked multiple times if snowmobiling was ok and the Vacasa team never really answered my question, and it turns out the hosts have a rule sheet on the fridge which indicates no snowmobiles are allowed on the property. Made us feel as if we were breaking the rules when i attempted to be up front. All in all a great stay, we would return.

Comfortable cabin experience!

My family had a wonderful stay in Muskie Haven! The location is so close to the town of Mercer and right off of Grand Portage Lake, you can’t beat it! Our family love to kayak, so having lake access made our vacation extra special. The basement with all the games and tv was perfect for rainy days! I highly recommend Muskie Haven for your next Mercer vacation!

Weekend Getaway

We had a great stay at Muskie Haven! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The home was very clean, well equipped and very spacious. We had 6 adults and a dog and had plenty of room. The location was peaceful and scenic, yet very close to downtown Mercer, grocery stores and restaurants. It’s an easy drive to Manitowish Waters, Minoqua, and less than 2 hours to the Porcupine Mountains which is a fabulous day trip!!

Awesome weekend in the North Woods

Awesome stay. Communication with them was awesome. Offered early checkin as soon as it was clean and ready. Plenty of room and immaculate. Location could not have been any better to get to the trails for snowmobiling. Constant flow of deer out the windows so offered an alternative to tv. Pinball machine and console video games was great to relax. Will definitely be back.

Good House & Location

We were a group of 5 in town for biking the WinMan Trails. The location was very peaceful and convenient. The house was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. Communication with the property manager was very good as well. There were heat advisories the weekend of our visit, unfortunately, which made the house extremely hot. We ended up spending our evenings in the basement to stay comfortable. We didn't use the boats to travel the lake, but there is a small access point to the lake for swimming if you don't mind weeds. Overall, it was a great house!
