We were traveling and needed a place to lay our heads down after a long day of driving. We booked on Hotels.com to stay at the Meridian, MS Comfort Inn. There were people drinking beer in the parking lot when we arrived. The desk clerk berated us for booking with a 3rd party. She was rude to us. The room was on the 3rd floor, which smelled bad when we stepped off of the elevator, sort of rancid. There were children running up and down the halls at 11pm. There was a very flimsy blanket, threadbare sheets, and exactly 2 towels and wash cloths. The mattress was lumpy and hard. Will not be trying a "Comfort Inn" again any time soon.
