The property itself is so amazing — very well designed, the architect & interior designer must have outdone themselves with designing this place & its renovation.
No problem with the heating/warmness at all & there are plenty of heating options & backups.
That said, the booking with Wotif was very confusing as it did not say upfront that the payment must be directly handled with the property management only, & can’t really book via Wotif, hence got it at a higher price than it could have been; also communication with the accommodation management prior to the stay (when I had questions about the payment) was so patchy; even during the stay itself: hot water could run out (even after being told it wouldn’t be the case & ensured the setting for the water-heater booster was ON, of which was not explained in the welcome pack, but was only told when I happened to call them about something else), sometimes phone didn’t get answered even under somewhat “urgent” after-hours situation, & wifi password wasn’t shared by default (not in any emails), even though welcome/check-in email was received & had been checked plenty of times — on that note, check-in instructions could’ve been emailed earlier (eg 72 hrs prior) rather than 3 hrs prior to check-in time, to allow time for questions like this (about wifi or checkin plans, etc).
