Our vacation apartment is located on the ground floor (mezzanine) of a stunning Art Nouveau villa over 120 years old, which we inhabit ourselves.

The apartment boasts a very cozy and rustic yet simultaneously stylish 120 sqm total area, divided into 2 bedrooms, a study/guest room, a spacious living and dining room, a generous hallway, kitchen, bathroom, WC, and conservatory.

The ancient original wooden floor, the huge double windows, and the beautiful stucco ceilings exude a very special, rustic-cozy charm.

A large foyer with a cloakroom and a bulletin board with useful information and tips about the apartment and the Sauerland region welcomes you upon arrival.

The apartment features a large, fully equipped kitchen including ceramic hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge with freezer compartment, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, pots, pans, dishes, and cutlery. If anything is missing, please don't hesitate to ask.

In addition to 2 "official" bedrooms with comfortable double beds and 2 single beds, there is a comfortable sofa bed for 2 persons in the living room and another one in the study/guest room.

The sofa bed in the study and guest room is part of a seating area suitable for business meetings. There is also a large desk and ample storage space and cabinets.

The bathroom consists of a separate toilet, a walk-in shower, a washbasin with mirror, and a shelf for hairdryer, towels, shower gel, and other bathroom essentials.

The heart of the apartment - the living and dining room - features a cozy, large sofa with sleeping accommodation for 2 persons, a fireplace including firewood, and an extendable dining table with 4-8 chairs. Additionally, there is a small bay window with a cozy reading chair and a beautiful view of the valley. Magnificent sunsets and spectacular thunderstorms can also be observed from here.

The conservatory offers, besides some exotic green plants, a cozy seating area with another sofa bed. In the morning, a kite often flies by, and during the day, you can wonderfully observe the songbirds in the cherry tree from here.

The internet connection is a 50,000 DSL line (fiber-optic), perfect for streaming (Netflix available) and video conferencing.

You are welcome to use the entire garden. Designed like a small park, it presents you with over 100-year-old rhododendrons, a composition of various flower scents, many charming details, and plenty of small delights such as berries, nuts, herbs, and mushrooms.

In addition to the changing, beautiful blossoms, various trees and shrubs, and a fantastic view, there are some benches, loungers, and seating areas inviting you to linger.

There is a beautiful roundel under a fragrant walnut tree, equipped with a comfortable seating group and a charcoal grill.

At the natural stone pool, there is another barbecue area with seating, as well as cozy sun loungers and a table tennis table.

A large straight lawn is suitable for sports activities such as badminton or soccer, or for meditation and yoga. Here you can also find a trampoline, a hammock, and a small seating area made of tree trunks.

We use the old tennis court as an herb and vegetable garden, for which we have built many large raised beds. You are welcome to help yourself here at any time.

Further up, there is a beautiful viewpoint with a fire pit. From here, you can overlook the entire valley, get a Mallorca tan within minutes in midsummer, and observe countless stars and shooting stars at night.

You are welcome to spend one or more nights outdoors to fully enjoy the starry sky and absolute tranquility.

Special highlights in the outdoor area are our animals: our dear Bernese Mountain Dog, the small cat, 11 particularly tame chickens - from which you can of course get delicious breakfast eggs - and our small horse pension with 3 small ponies and 4 elderly horse retirees, who always enjoy visitors, especially if they bring carrots. When the weather is good, pony rides are also possible for children.

For a small fee, you also have the opportunity to use our sauna or rent our 2 e-mountain bikes.

Up to 4 cars can be parked in the courtyard, additional parking spaces are available outside the property.

Motorcycles can be parked in the garage. E-bikes can also be parked and charged here.

Although we are located in such an idyllic and peaceful location, you can reach the city center with shopping facilities, restaurants, cafes, bars, as well as city festivals and pub nights in about 10 minutes.

Just as quickly, you can reach the beautiful Hennesee and, after an extensive walk or bathing excursion, enjoy the view at the iconic H1. At the Schüren airfield, you can watch gliders and motor gliders take off and land.

The hot air balloons of the "Mongolfiade" in Warstein often fly so close over our house that you think you could touch them. If you want to experience them all, you can reach Warstein in 20 minutes.

The ski resorts, bike parks, museums, and Fort Fun are all within a radius of about 20-40 minutes by car.
