Hotel had no knowledge of our reservation
On arrival we went to check in and the hotel had no knowledge of our reservation. It was evening and very unsettling wondering if we would have to scramble for somewhere else to stay. Fortunately the property manager was quick to respond via chat and had to email our confirmation. The whole process took a little over 30 min but we were happy it was resolved. The beach chairs are packed as if on a cruise ship. We drove up and down the coast during our stay and didn’t notice any other properties do that. Also we had only one bath towel each and didn’t notice until packing up to leave that the extra towels were in a bedroom drawer rather than in the bathroom where there was ample shelving available meant for extra towels. Also we used the oven and there was no pot holder (maybe it was in the bedroom with the bath towels ). The balcony was nice and the view was as advertised. Keep in mind this unit is next to the elevators. Normally that wouldn’t bother us but they sounded like wind howling every time they went up and down. There are three and it’s a busy hotel. Valet did great at having our car out front by the time we got to the lobby. If you only speak English, language was sometimes a barrier. Overall the stay was good.
