Beautifully decorated condo in an upscale resort. The condo was as described and for the most part as pictured. The balcony was amazing. However, you are mainly looking at the city or the top of the building next to the resort. You can see the ocean but it is a side view. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and there are smart TVs in both the living room and bedroom. There is a dining room table in the main living area that wasn’t pictured and was a nice surprise. Overall it was a nice condo but there are a few items that could be improved. There is poor lighting in both the kitchen and the bathroom. The bathroom shower has a half-glass covering that makes it nearly impossible to keep the water inside the shower. A very high pitch sound was constantly made when you run water in the condo; it is especially loud and piercing in the bathroom. Lastly, we were only provided with one washcloth. We had 4 towels, 2 hand towels and 1 washcloth. When I reached out to get this addressed, I was told to go to the store and buy one. This was disappointing that it wasn’t take care of for us. We loved being right on the beach but the resort made things challenging. The valet parking can be very busy and hectic. The beach was extremely crowded. If you don’t come early (30 min before they open), you end up being placed in a mass of chairs and umbrellas with limited view of the ocean. On the positive side, the pool was amazing and not too busy!

Everything was really great. The bed was comfortable, the condition of the condo was great, and very clean. The location was great, and there were a good deal of things within walking distance. The view was beautiful, and the beach was gorgeous. I would definitely recommend! It was nice to have the coffee options, but I wish we had known there was a Nespresso and a Keurig, as we would have packed appropriately. There was even an air fryer. One thing that was not made clear was that the TV was a smart TV with no cable, so it was difficult to watch anything on the TV. Not that our intention was to sit and watch TV all day, but it would have been nice to at least watch the news. We tried to download the Xfinity streaming app, but it was locked to do so. All in all, highly recommend, but maybe just a few more details could have been noted.

Location was great. Common areas (pool, restaurants, beach) were great. Elevators were VERY slow. Individual unit was OK, but not very well equipped (glasses, silverware, etc.) and it was clearly worn. Needed paint, repair to some dings in the walls, and a deep cleaning. Surface was pretty clean but there was dirt on baseboards and some mold/mildew in bathroom/shower.

Host was very responsive. The place was spectacular. Great views. Right on the beach, very nice pool area and good gym. Feedback to the hosts: you can leave more than salt and sugar in the condo and more than one dishwasher and laundry detergent. This felt like a luxury property, except for these amenities. We left some black pepper, oil (spray) and spice mix for the next guests. Remember to pay it forward! The location is just ok. Not many restaurants close by. Happily, there was a WalMart near by: 10-15 mins walk away. This saved us a lot as we cooked most meals in the condo.

I will come again. A few suggestions.

The room is clean and comfortable. The view is great. The location is great. I will definitely book this room again next time I come to the area. I would have preferred a full shower door instead of the half door. Have replacement batteries for remotes available if needed. Beware of the bar, food and spa prices. They are ridiculously high. It is easy to find these items external to the property at reasonable prices.

Condo getaway

Condo is comfortable with beautiful views from 25th floor. Nice gym overlooking ocean and all staff were very nice and helpful. 4 elevators for a huge complex that gets packed with people. Valet parking only that requires 20 minutes to get your car.

Spectacular views

The condo is nice, kitchen is equipped, bed decently comfortable. Views are great, and because it’s a corner unit there is a ton of balcony space. My 7 year old slept on the fold down sofa. Blackout curtains available on all the giant wonderful windows. My complaints would be that the sheets were stained/spiked in the bed- I did message the manager of the unit and he asked housekeeping to come change them which they did. The comforter was also gross with makeup stains and general dirt, but as with most hotels it was between 2 sheets so I let it be. Things to be aware of with this property: patience is required for the elevators. Check-in is a bit tedious with lots of online busywork to complete upon arrival. There are servers that come around constantly poolside asking if you want drinks or food- and it’s pricey! I would stay here again for the views and beachfront location, The large pools are heated and enjoyable.

Amazing apartment with a great host

We had a great time staying at this apartment. It has everything you need, including all cookware, linens and towels. It also had a playpen for our baby. The host was extremely responsive and accommodating. The only drawback is the resort itself (at no fault of this host). The check in is not smooth and staff is not friendly. They did not setup our keys correctly and we had to go back to the front desk every day until one staff corrected it. The valet experience is also quite stressful especially at dinner time when everyone wants their car. However, the beach amenities were good and we were always able to find a spot on the beach.

Hidden gem by the beach

Was absolutely perfect for what we needed... we were in town for a multi day sporting event so we were looking for someplace clean, quiet and comfortable to relax and this spot was perfect! Sad we werent able to enjoy all of the amenities but the few that we did (pool and bar) were spot on... will definitely be staying here again! Of note, plan to have patience with the check in process (through the hotel, not the communication with the owner)... the go over a lot of information with each individual guest which can back up the que a bit...

Conveniently located

Spartan condo. Lighting in bathroom was poor and towels were cheap and poor quality. Balcony was the best part. Very nice views. All in all good location and acceptable quarters. Inside condo very basic and not cozy but clean. Sheets not really the best quality and no fitted bottom sheet so if you are an active sleeper you will end up touching the mattress as the sheets will come untucked. Appreciated small cooler in unit. Coffee maker and filters available. Dish soap provided and sponge, only two dishwasher tablets, two laundry machine soap packets. Enough toiletpaper but needed more than the one mini soap provided for showering.

Excellent!

This place was great. Sure, there is some wear and tear, but it's a rental property and that is to be expected. We loved sitting on the balcony and watching boats cruise through the drawbridge. Wal-Mart is an easy walk across the bridge, and Payless is walkable as well (even with younger children) with sidewalks the whole way. The pools were fabulous and warm the whole time. Service was great at the pool, though drinks are quite expensive. The food was very good as well. We got an Uber for anywhere we needed to go far away, like the Boardwalk or the mall. We thought the keys on the wristband were great, one less thing to keep track of. No problems with getting towels or chairs, and we didn't get to the pool until about 10 each morning. Would definitely stay here (either this condo or at the Hyde in general) again!

Nice condo

We really enjoyed this condo. Very comfortable, incredible balcony, and all the usual amenities. Close to the elevators, which is convenient but which also puts condo next to a garbage chute that's somewhat audible in condo. Parking is mandatory valet.

Great time in the sun

We made a quick 3 night escape from the Chicago cold. The place was perfect and like all the other reviews the balcony was a great morning coffee spot. We spent most every minute by the pool. Even ate lunch and dinner there delivered to our chairs. Perfect place!!

Great Stay!

The property was just as described and shown in the photos. Great vibe at the Hyde resort. Check in was easy and valet parking was a plus. Only issue was wait times for the elevator, especially when trying to go up from floor 9 from the pool area. One of 4 elevators were down and another had to be repaired, so that is understandable. Also not the fault of the host! Overall a great stay and we hope to be back in the future!

Beautiful room

Property was very nice. Staff at resort came off rude at times especially our first day. We didn’t run into any trouble during our stay other than the fire detector alarm going off for needing batteries not long after we got settled the first day, wasn’t able to be fixed until later the following day.

Anniversary Weekend Getaway

This unit was absolutely fantastic. The views alone was worth it. Being it had a oversize balcony we were able to eat breakfast and lunch while taking in the gorgeous views. Unit is modern and well kept. Property has an amazing pool. Onsite restaurant is a little pricey with "ok" food.

Excellent resort

Amazing location for a perfect vacation stay. It was a 5 star experience. The apartment had it all. The balcony is the highlight. Amazing views of the beach and sunrise and sunset. Can't wait to come back again. Highly recommend.

Pleasant stay

First, I must say that I think Hollywood Beach/Hallandale Beach are gems. I have been to Ft. Lauderdale and Miami and yet Hollywood was a totally different vibe. I loved the boardwalk. The unit was spacious for a family of four and the views from the unit balcony were amazing. Clear views to beach, intercoastal side and city. Balcony is large and runs the length of the unit. My favorite part of the unit was the balcony. The unit was not clean when I arrived. We moved table to access pull out couch and food crumbs everywhere. The unit manager did send housekeeping within 24 hours of my call to report. I like pristine living and the condo missed the mark for me. Tile grout needs to be cleaned, walls could use a fresh coat of paint and the living room furniture needs cleaning. I feel the cost for the type of unit we had was very fair.
