This place has potential, but there are several things that need to be done for the property to bring it up to the standard of a vacation rental. First and foremost, it needs a deep cleaning. We spent our first full day of vacation cleaning the kitchen and bathrooms. The beds are awful. Awful. The appliances are in need of replacement. The entire home needs somebody with resources to invest some cash and bring it to a standard worthy of charging people to stay. Some other things of note, river access is difficult/dangerous to say the least. The grass looked like it hadn't been cut in weeks. As a result of the above mentioned items, we ended up leaving on day 2 of our scheduled week stay. In my opinion, the house just isn't ready to operate as a vacation rental yet, but with a good cleaning, some updates to beds and major appliances, and some sweat equity in installing a decent access to the river, it has the potential to be a nice destination. The one positive is that the river has some nice fishing, but the older men in our group were unable to participate due to being unable to access the river.
